Ok 426, maybe I’m being a bit harsh but the Klemmer I remember was a real goer, and fiery too. I know he’s older now and has probably mellowed but we just don’t seem to have any fire in the belly( except maybe Seyfarth when he gets riled).
I’d like some Haas, Fisher Harris or Leinu type charges from someone on a regular basis !!!

Would definitely be pulling the extension and benching him next game until he pulls his finger out. Shame because he has all the potential to be a top 3 prop in the game but plays like a soft [This word has been automatically removed].

My guess is he goes to either Panthers or Roosters on “unders”. Don’t see how the Eels could offer anything close to our offer considering how much they have wrapped up in Moses, Brown, Gutherson, RCG, and Paulo alone. Bellamy won’t pay anywhere near 800K for an inconsistent prop and most signs point to him wanting to stay in Sydney.

Personally I always thought Klemmer got picked from Origin and Australia off the back off a shaved head and angry face. He was never an elite front rower. Generally his yards are ok and he makes his tackles, but slow play the balls, no solid contact in defence even in his representative years, way too many penalties and dropped balls make him quite average.
Always been overrated like Jason Ryles.

Ive seen people on here mention a lot that he has slow play the balls. I check those sorts of stats after games regularly and he more often than not has one of the fastest average play the ball speeds in the game. Im not sure why people think he's slow in that area.

I can't disagree with the no solid contact though. I dont think he's been terrible for us but with his size and his experience i was expecting a lot more

The speculation about his next contract imo is impacting his game. He needs to make a decision now in fairness to the club which has made him a competitive offer.

I could care less what Steph does but we better not lose Pole. He has more than earned our respect and loyalty. He has made a few blues but his a keeper. Big body decent motor and never a passenger in the team. He is only young, there's so much more upside with him over Steph. If Steph could be a future great prop then Pole in comparison could become Glen Lazarus.

It depends when they start counting. He spends a lot of time in the tackle wrapped up.

Hardly ever breaks tackles....no threat to the opposition. They just catch him, hold him up and ease him into his back. They give up some PCM, but he hasn't got the defenders on the outside worried that an offload or tackle break is coming.

Without the threat, you don't draw players in and out of position. Look at his offloads and tackle breaks as well. It give a better picture of what he brings.

Was a damaging forward in his day, but it's a different bloke out there.
