Not as bad as dummying to an open Alex Johnson before completing a double movement straight from the textbook.Taane Milne just destroys any chance of a last minute draw with a horrendous conversion attempt. Pathetic.

Yeah I heard him say that on the radio. I had a distinct feeling disgust. What a fool. I was embarrassed for him.
Not even close to Collins. There is a bloke in the Facebook group who is delusional about Stef’s ability, he reckons Stef is far better than Collins in every facet. He got quite offended when I said Stef isn’t even in the top 10 props in the game. Then he wanted me to name them, I named 14 and could of kept going
Again, we go on the average demonstrated speed. Not one off runs. If 95% of their runs are slow , then they're slow. Even nof looked quick in certain moments. Lobb is slow. Douiehi is slow. Bula never sprints. Toa is slow and lazy. Naden and Staines have some pace but have other areas of their hand they struggle with.It does have a slow look to it on paper but It actually isn't. Douehi outran Weekes, Lobb chased down Alan Fitzgibbon, Turuva and Bula aren't slow. It a deceptively quick backline.

It's like people don't realise there's a reason we've come last every season. We are slow. We have no X factor. No backs capable of creating something
Probably matulino is a better exampleThere is a deep insight in this comment.
The Tigers are a club that for years gambled as a way of making decisions.
Benji as coach with zero experience is the best example. But there are loads of others. They gamble that payers with a crazy amount of injury will have a better run at the Tigers. Reynolds is an obvious example.
You even see it with previous hero’s and juniors versus Faatape. Faatape (apologies spelling) played solid in his early appearances. Instead of letting him stay in role we dropped him and gambled on others.
Second to that we have a history of shafting people. It started with Sheens years ago. Then it was verbal commitments on money not followed through, then it was trying to push people out who were on contact (clashes included).
We then wonder why players shaft us.
I don’t remember players shafting us until we shafted Sheens. At least not like our recent run has been.
Funny Taane Milne coming back.Fair enough.
And Tahne Milne from South’s remains unsigned.
He’s got that “Olam” vibe of being a natural grunt -massive strength and solid attitude. Another Fijian international.
He can run that ball back up relieving pressure on what I think will be younger forwards coming on for us next few years.
I can’t see us producing too much leg speed in years just ahead. I think our footy edge will come from feet, hands, line breaks, intensity and pressure.
Most of all, staying in the game a la Gold Coast.
Drop on focus cruelled the eels last night. It doesn’t take much. A couple of flakey moments and the good sides smash you.
But why are we slow.Again, we go on the average demonstrated speed. Not one off runs. If 95% of their runs are slow , then they're slow. Even nof looked quick in certain moments. Lobb is slow. He’s literally playing for a contractFunny Taane Milne coming back.
I mean the guy has been in decent form. I just could see him cruising here particularly of our history and his.
He's terrible hey...He’s literally playing for a contract
I think some of it is we aren’t moving onto the ball soon enough. And we don’t have players that are quick off the markBut why are we slow.
Staines was a speedster at Penrith. Toa can move fast and doesn't.
More then that we are slow with the play the ball and slow to get the ball to the outside backs. But we hsould not be slow.
Not sure, he’s a bit of a beast having a go this year. Something in his mind has snapped. Plus the Benji factor.Funny Taane Milne coming back.

Quick tell Benji!!!I think some of it is we aren’t moving onto the ball soon enough. And we don’t have players that are quick off the mark
🤷♂️Why is there so much chat about Milne 😭
Since returning about 3 weeks ago Doueihi has looked dangerous every time he’s touched the ball which has certainly surprised me, I didn’t think he would still have it in him after 3 ACL injuries.Again, we go on the average demonstrated speed. Not one off runs. If 95% of their runs are slow , then they're slow. Even nof looked quick in certain moments. Lobb is slow. Douiehi is slow. Bula never sprints. Toa is slow and lazy. See this post from ol mate Bags, I think it trumps any suggestion of signing Milne. @BAGNF05
