Realistically benji actually will.need to be ruthless to.punt some of the boys in the team.at seasons end.
With everyone saying they are hanging around for the remainder of their contract benji needs to throw them in cup with the understanding the nrl won't be an option. I think benji is probs to nice.
Naden, Sullivan, klemmer, and a no of others need to be released before we can even approach others id imagine

It will go down like this.
Stef takes up his extension for 25.
Talks to Melbourne come November.
We agree to release him from his final year of contract paying some of the freight.
In return Melbourne give us NAS at FULL freight.

And frankly I couldn’t care. There’s no point trying scrap and save on cap space when you have NO ONE of worth to spend it on.

Might as well spend 1 mil on a Stef for NAS swap.

The only way we can achieve that is by playing a 17 that consists of the majority of kids signed long term.
Win lose or Draw it signifies that we are moving in a different direction to the misfits we are hoping that move on.
Play the likes of Naden, To’a, Sullivan, Klemmer and Bateman in cup for the remainder of the year they will get the message.

It’s our “experienced” players that are letting us down more than the kids.

Cld u imagine what the score wld have been last nite playing the "kids" Mte have racked up a Bradman.
Our kids are mostly nowhere near ready..most will never be tbh..call it as it is
We need more experienced and committed NRL players
I thought Gus made a mistake at Dogs,but recruiting 1000 utilities ..all with the rite attitude in an achieiving culure....,,plus a few stars/has been way more successful than out invest in youth policy

They need to do what the dogs do , sign up whoever they can and release who they don’t want later
