You have to wonder the psychological affect it will have on him. Everyone is going on about his fist raise, but that was literally in the moment. Once it sinks in what happened, you have to wonder how it affects him at least in the short term. I’ll happily say I was wrong, but I’d be surprised if he does another rally in the near future. This was a big F-up by the secret service. It is unacceptable that a bloke can crawl onto a roof with direct line of sight to the stage and let a volley of shots off before being taken down. Don’t these people undertake reconnaissance? No budget for a bloody scouting drone? Were their snipers not scanning roof tops? Were they trigger-shy?
