Brooks plays finals first year away from tigers , good on him he has been better at manly , not a gun just better there than at our club , could it be the coaching or the fact they have more better players meaning our recruiting for years has been shatLick Bricks dicks Knights (and Hastings).
Manly surge into top eight.
Hastings certainly had the better game though....Lick Bricks dicks Knights (and Hastings).

All the above is true, plus their coaching is betterBrooks plays finals first year away from tigers , good on him he has been better at manly , not a gun just better there than at our club , could it be the coaching or the fact they have more better players meaning our recruiting for years has been shat
OK, lot of us are now wondering why Brooksy hasn’t used his new BBQ? 😂

Probably because it reminds him of many long lost years, and how offensive it was as a last minute gift for 10 years service.OK, lot of us are now wondering why Brooksy hasn’t used his new BBQ? 😂
I think too much was expected of him. Seibold has obviously told him just to play the game, he is a 200 gamer for Gods sake.Be good to see him do well this year. Never took a backwards step in our jersey.
Whadda 'ya mean, they're running with a shit load of our discards.Brooks plays finals first year away from tigers , good on him he has been better at manly , not a gun just better there than at our club , could it be the coaching or the fact they have more better players meaning our recruiting for years has been shat
One man’s trash is another man’s treasure !Whadda 'ya mean, they're running with a shit load of our discards.
Same reason Stef will perform just fine elsewhere.I think too much was expected of him. Seibold has obviously told him just to play the game, he is a 200 gamer for Gods sake.
Sometimes the simplest things in life are the best , just play what’s in front of you. Is that what all the really good ones do.
The clear difference is DCE, the two Turbos and Olakau'atu.Whadda 'ya mean, they're running with a shit load of our discards.
Perfect summation. The clear difference is DCE, the two Turbos and Olakau'atu.
Even without them during Origin period, it keeps the Manly team at a minimum level and encourages the young blokes to rise to that level. Same way Penrith and Storm are still dangerous during Origin, because there is a minimum expectation / competency / standard of the team when there are 4+ legitimate Origin-level players in the team every week.
Obviously Manly's standard offering is below the level of Penrith or Storm, but higher by far than Tigers.
So it's usual Luke Brooks for me, that I've seen - decent general play, his running game is his best attribute, defends well front-on, but you don't want to rely on him as your main playmaker for long periods.
The last time Manly were without DCE they were beaten 14-0 by Rabbits (away) and the Manly fans were super critical of Brooks' play.
I said could it be our coaching or they have better players ,,your answer must be better coach / coaches thenWhadda 'ya mean, they're running with a shit load of our discards.
To be completely fair to Brooksy, I thought he had a very good game on the weekend compared his previous outings when DCE has not been on the park, even his kicking was okay. The clear difference is DCE, the two Turbos and Olakau'atu.
