6. Adam Douihei
7. Lachlan Galvin
At the start of the season I thought Sezer was the organiser the team needed, like a low rent Reynolds. He's been poor ever since, and last week he was bad. Good to see Galvin and Douihei as halves. They couldn't be worse than Sezer last week. Douihei's struggling with centre D too, so a move might help.
Come to think of it, when did the Tigers last have a backline that could defend? Have they ever had a solid defensive backline ever? Even the 2005 team wasn't great with D.
These days, all teams have to do is pass out to the wing, who has a saloon passage to the line. It seems like they don't trust each other to tackle their opposite number. Understandable ... they do miss a lot
😆. Most backlines are faster and more athletic than WT - all the top 8 sides, Saints, Knights, Broncs, Titans, Warriors ... and Bunnies. At least they don't have Campbell Soup in there.
I thought Olam would be the answer. He's an improvement but Bellamy let him go because his D is patchy.
