Nothing will change until his knee is fixed … he has been hampered by it all season ..so how its being managed now is not working…

Sounds like you were in the room with him and the doctor
I have no idea on what is wrong with his leg but I do know that if he is still the same after the off season there’s a fair chance it won’t get better
Is it just hearsay that he won’t have an operation. Hasn’t he got a degree in science of some sort. Only speculating but most learned people believe in medicine as it’s been proven more so now than even 20 years ago

People here are adamant he won’t have the surgery … appreciate that ain’t worth the paper it’s (not) written on.. but I have no theory to offer otherwise .,,as his current method of managing the injury he has employed this past 6 months does not appear to be making any difference

Unless we challenge the suspension, now is the time for Olam to have clean-up surgery to give himself the best chance of being up-and-going for the pre-season.

I'll be very disappointed in the club if there is no surgery and his knee issue continues next season.

I heard today he won’t have an operation and they might try medically retire him if doesn’t improve

What is ridiculous is that we dint identify and understand all the issues upfront...plus his own attitude towards surgery.
Is a payout what he was always seeking.....and how the hell did we miss all this from day one?

Wests Tigers centre Justin Olam requires surgery on both knees and will miss the remainder of the 2024 NRL season.

As good as someone having surgery is, this is good news. Best chance of him fulfilling his contract in the best shape as possible.

If it's just a cleanout, with a month to go and then off-season, hopefully Olam can complete most if not all of pre-season.

Wonder if Richo said have surgery or medical retirement is happening.

Good news means we have gotten through to him something the Storm was unable to do.
 
This is the right action with Olam.
If he gets off, good - we can get on our soapbox about tough penalisation of the club through the media.
If he gets done and upgraded to 4 games, no affect - he is missing the remainder of the year regardless.
