I agree with this. Its our biggest need. Our back 5 cant do hard stuff he does hard stuff instant upgrade

Yeah I don’t get the too small narrative he is solidly built and 181 cms tall. 1 cm taller than Nofo and same size as To’o. Sure he is not a giant but he is beneficial in other ways in attack.
Defensively is where I’m concerned.

I have been an advocate of his for few years.
He is a pure effort player and does work on his game. He chases and runs hard. Very focused on improving. He isn’t a make something out of nothing player but he will make hard yards, win us some penalties and if put into a position will finish. We don’t have that at the back currently.

Some people are just born whingers, nothing will please them, no player good enough for us. I think he will be a great signing, wing is one of our weakest positions and he improves that immensely

My only concern is he looks hobbled by a knee issue. Also I thinks he’s going to play centre here.

I think Richo just gives lip service , we have announced nobody and other clubs seem to get deals done pretty quick , Ice was a panther in a week , Richo said we were talking to people months ago plus his holiday / Business trip to the Uk seems like it produced zero , Bateman gone was Benji having a crack at him after a game , I would say Richo has only done a deal that was not started prior to him arriving is Turuva it’s ok but not the same as Luai similar , I’m not sure he has the bang he had years ago , he could be just like the players we buy , worn out , passed the use buy date

given the clear lack of quality on the open market and the need to bolster our middle forward stocks, we’ve stumbled across a diamond in the rough.

really happy he’s been locked down on a full time deal. cannot wait to see how he progresses with a full NRL preseason.

Good move by the club , could be another Porter type that just comes in and does the job , he has the build to play back row and prop , add couple KG in off season and harden him up a bit he will be ok back up player
