Signings, Suggestions & Rumours Discussion

FWIW I think the Dogs are on to something with their forward buys in 2024. Size seems to be a secondary consideration to leg speed and overall fitness. They don’t make many metres being ranked 15th offensively but first defensively with an average of 2.6 tries conceded.
Small busy packs may be the way the game is heading with a strong back 5 to start the sets
Yeah they could do with a big guy though.
What am I saying, who cares, they could do with a baited bone.

Reminds me of the ultra fit roosters pack of 2000-2005

It's a culture of Effort.

That's where we are headed under Benji.

Just after the 43 min mark when Mason talks about To’o rumours & then Stefano.
Thanks mate...yeah it is interesting he said "key Bulldogs players" to Tigers. I can't see many of their "Key" players leaving. However each person views it differently. Could also mean key players they had earmarked for their future (Seve brothers?). Or it might not be happening at all anymore because Stefano went to Storm instead.
Hopefully some clarity and signings over the coming weeks.

I took it as just speculation just like every other scenario he tossed up
Could have been in the pipeline if Stefano did sign with the dogs though.
I think I need to consult the magic 8 ball

This thread is bloody dull BUT will be on fire if Richo delivers some good news. The + is we don’t have the pascals and PI lawyer and their merry band in charge and the leaks have stopped. Hard for us long timers who expect news weekly. I am contradicting myself, but give the new admin some time. We have been a train wreck for 13 years - well multiple times in that period - and at least now we don’t have unqualified lunatics making decisions … although the pain of their past incompetence will haunt us for few years still! haha time will tell. To all the long suffering fans, I salute you 🙏

Yes, and going back to Richo's last poddy interview, he gave indications that roster changes would be known in 2 months.

Agree though ideally I think you have one large middle with two smaller, more mobile ones. Their lack of one large impact middle is one of their main weaknesses. They fix that and the halfback spot and they’re a top four aside imo.

The rule changes are pretty much yelling this at everyone. They want less head injuries.
