LIVE GAME Round 23 vs. Knights

Live Game Discussion
In there defence, they like me seen a knock on , ANd the same thing happened yesterday and they said no try , but the ref and the bunker just rubbed are nose in it , and the winger could have been out but there was no close up , they skipped it very quickly
If the shoe was on the other foot & it was the Tigers attacking, there would have been 2 mins of the bunker checking every angle TWICE in slow motion, anything to disallow the try!

Watched the game with another family of tigers supporters which took the sting out of a Sunday loss.. Game was on in the first half and the fluke try before HT was hard to take. Defensively we are awful. What I saw today was some young / non stars having a crack. In attack, I thought seyfart has some of his best runs in our jersey. A lot more than pea heart pillow. The Fat was good in offense when we had the ball. Ponga was on and he is protected so I think he was the difference. Sezer off again didn’t help. Galvin was ok, so was Fainu. Thought Alaimo did ok - learning the game. Tallyn should have played more minutes. API had an average game - needs a rest. Douhei apart from falling over the line was a passenger. Luai would have won that for us. A few cattle short of being back in the middle of the pack at the bottom - ie 10th to 14th. Lots of kids running around out there. Galvin needs 10kg of muscle in the off season. Players like Sezer and Olam need to play more than half the season.

alaimalo was horrible !!!

Like 4 tries down his wing.

Bro you you must have benjis glasses on

Good turnout for the game
22k odd.

Lots of Tigers support, as usual.

Very unpolished game from our boys.
The backs are a problem and have been for years.

I just sent this email to Richo … he’s responded to one of my emails and ignored the other two… let’s see

Shane

I was involved with the club when we lost Teddy and Mitch Moses.

I spoke with both Justin Pascoe and Kelly Egan (director of football) at the time.

They both told me that even if Jason Taylor had won the first games of 2017 – the players would have left for a more successful club.

The club should have sacked Jason Taylor at the end of the 2016 and given Ivan Cleary a full off season to be able to convince Mitch and Teddy to stay.

Instead Justin Pascoe kept Taylor at the club for the beginning of 2017 because Jason had done the dirty work for him by getting rid of Robbie Farah and they felt they owed him. It was obvious the players wanted out because they would not extend at the back end of 2016 – much like Galvin is doing now.

My point is – that if we do not get a proper coach, who can give the players confidence in his systems – Galvin will be looking for a club early next year and it won’t matter if you change Benji after 10 games – once the player wants to leave – it will be harder for any incoming coach to convince him to stay… just like it was too hard for Ivan Cleary to convince Teddy and Mitch to stay.

We are witnessing the same scenario as 2017.

PLEASE CHANGE THE COACH.

We are living in hope that Luai will be able to convince him stay – and you do not seem like a man who lives in hope.

We should have got Bennet earlier this year and made Benji do a longer apprenticeship.

Maybe Brad Arthur? Or someone that the players respect.

Regards

More than a fair chance this gets ignored also.

Hard being a tiger fan.

Clutching to hope that next year may finally be better
Don’t do it to yourself.
Unless Richo has 3 or 4 current origin players joining us in addition to Luai, we’ll be thereabouts for the spoon once again.
We desperately need these Bears to join the comp.

Douehi let him down horribly, Alaimaolo is no world beater and someone needs to tell Douehi he isn't either. Shòoting up ALL game and taking nobody was a weak option.
Was this instructed by Benji? Or was Doueihi taking it upon himself? It was horrendous.

Alaimalo is no world beater but defending outside Doueihi at the moment is a hiding to nothing

My asking for Chris Faagutu to be given a run in today's side would not have been a bad choice considering the dross that was served up today.
