Latrell : Exposed

Only way is to have him take a drug test , but like normal they won’t do that as it’s a thing that is all through the game , Homes no drug test , Trell no drug test , Ponga no drug test and so on , it’s a dirty part of the game
Mitch Kenny no drug test - Mitchell Pearce no drug test - so what exactly is is your point?

Yeah - a drug test for cocaine more than 72 hours later is the answer...

He's not playing currently due to injury - and nothing he gets up to in his own time (for many years) has ever been performance enhancing if you look at his on-field results...

Time for his EMPLOYER Souths to step up (but NEVER FORGET that our erstwhile coach and new-NSW doyen Madge was happy for Sam Burgess - Dylan Walker and Aaron Gray to go into drug-induced psychosis and even cardiac arrest on their own time - while covering it up because it suited his win at all costs purposes)!

Targeted drug testing of Latrell by the NRL/ASADA is both improper and a cop out!

Reece Walsh gave a teary apology after being ARRESTED for cocaine possession on the Gold Coast and got a slap on the wrist by the NRL and Broncos... did he subsequently get target "tested"...

Or Munster - or Brandon Smith...

FFS Brent Naden tested positive for cocaine use that supposedly occurred on the eve of the 2021 GF - and only copped a $5K fine PLUS no drug ban because it was deemed by ASADA to be taken "out of competition" - when the entire Panthers squad was in the fricking COVID-bubble...

The morality police need to target the complicit clubs involved - NOT the individuals!

So we do nothing , maybe we need one of these dick heads to over dose and die in public , just cause others keep getting away with it doesn’t mean we try and target the club , it should be in the contract of all players that you are to be drug free from pre season start until the end of the full comp including the grand final , and random drug tests will be carried out constant , we need this rubbish weeded out

Sam Burgess - Dylan Walker - Aaaron Gray all overdosed with Souths covering their tracks...

As I said - the EMPLOYER should be taking appropriate action!

Coke residue is gone within 24-36 hours - what is the point of testing as per your grand plan!

Maybe read the whole post before replying in future!

Random testing , and I mean random , not like the old days when Newcastle got the heads up and made Joey disappear , Yes it does look like south’s like hiding shit that’s for sure , clubs will cover stuff up for the stars , if it was Grey on his own I say different story , and yes Trell was probably off his guts for days and we will never know but the NRL are the real reason this goes on as they are week as piss , Homes , Ponga , Trell , Walker , Burgess , Pearce , and so on , see a pattern hear , high profile players , NRL say bury it , And I don’t care if it is performance or non performance , if it’s illegal you get punished ,

Like the "random" testing that Mitch Kenny avoided after those "Boxing Day lines"?

Look at the Naden test the night before the 2021 GF (when the teams were in the COVID bubble)

ASADA deemed that to be "out of competition" when it was the night before a game he was on the bench for - so just $5K NRL fine and no suspension...

How does that help anyone?

Walker and Gray were TOGETHER when they overdosed and almost died....

Souths (AND Madge) need to own this bullshit!

You miss what I’m saying
to play in the NRL you sign a contract and it should be part of the std NRl contract.
Random Drug tests from November 1 till september 30. The full season .
Any club caught giving a player the heads up should be fined $ 1 million in cap money first time , 2 nd time removed from the comp , then the clubs will go all out on the players , I ask you this
How Many NRL players from each clubs top 30 are using drugs while playing. During the season .
my number At least 10 players from each club .
Lower grade players are also dealers along with some top graders , Ex Panther now Rooster perfect example

Walker and Gray were TOGETHER when they overdosed and almost died....

Maybe we needed one to die to get the nrl to start to fix the issue , I dot give a shit if 10 current players OD today , it’s the young dumb ones coming through or the young kids still at school hear it, see it and think they can get away with it , drugs should be such a taboo for all players and anyone really

The NRL is NOT their employer!

The duty of care lies with the clubs!

It’s an NRL contract they sign , no sign no play , club can’t do anything , it just needs to be written into the std contracts , and when they push for it you will see who wants it out the junky players
NO - or they could be moved between clubs by THEIR EMPLOYER the NRL...

The contract is with the individual CLUB...

How rudimentary is your grasp of employment law?

Unavailable for Souths at the pointy end of the season, unavailable for NSW in Origin, never there when he’s needed most…one might think he has an aversion to playing in the big games.
Except he was brilliant in game 2 SOO this year. Don't disagree with you on the whole but he is capable of being a star in big games.

No matter who you are or what club you play (work) for....
If I was paying you big bucks to play footy for me, and had you on a contract, I'd expect you to be clean as a whistle during footy season, and as your employer, I would be regularly drug testing all my staff and players...

And clean during offseason. They are paid to be professional athletes and that doesn’t include recreational drugs.
But on their hols, as long as it’s not performance enhancing or detrimental to other people, in moderation, a controlled environment, no phones or pics. Then maybe still no as it is actually illegal.

I find it hard to believe they are still stupid enough to continue to pose for the camera while sorting or waving a satty full around? But there it is again. 🤷‍♂️

I come from a blue collar world. I actually dont personally know anyone not from primary industries, mining or construction. Within this world I find that the blase attitude towards cocaine is incredible. I see 40 year old blokes with 5 kids organising bags for a night out. The young fellas deal on job sites all day every day. There are some Ive never seen sit down and have lunch as thats when they are out in the carpark transacting.
When I was young, blokes would have signals to tell each other they were going to chop up. These days theyll talk across a crowded table and say "im going for a bump, who's coming"?
I seriously think the guys in their early twenties have factored cocaine purchases into their weekly budget like I would alcohol.
