Especially if they’re train and trial contracts . Just because we sign players doesn’t mean they’re all top 30 / dec players .
I wouldn’t be offering any of those 3 top 30 contracts .
And Richo was especially explicit about the fact we will be signing quality to bolster our reserve grade .
And considering the huge amount of players we used this season , if you’re a player looking for a back door back into the nrl , reserve grade for the tigers would be offering a higher chance of actually fulfilling that . I mean look at Rueben Porter this year .

If Teddy was an option and the price was good we would be nuts to say no. He instantly increases our win count & gets us off the bottom of the ladder. He has a few good years left in his body still.

I know highlight reels are fit for purpose - ie to showcase the best bits of a player, but what I saw there got me interested. Agree he shows more punch than what Stephano generally showed with us.

If you showed just a highlights reel of Stefano it would destroy Hunts video. Think of how many barnstorming runs he has done over the years, the tries he has scored. His highlights far outweigh Hunts. And I'm no fan of Stefano, but his best is very good.

I'm a no to Hunt. He has far too little output minuted wise for the money it would take us to get him and his age suggests there is no more upside to what he is currently producing.
