If a player under contract has nothing to hide, shouldn't bother him or her to do any of the above tests.
All teams have a duty of care to, first of all the players health and well being, the team, the NRL, the supporters and youngsters that these athletes are a role model for, and betting agencies.

Burges assaulted his wife, went on known drug binges and they just covered it up. As if Souths will do anything. It’s the NRL.
Spot on. This is 1000% worse than some casual drug use, and there are numerous DV perpetrators playing in the NRL with minimal or zero consequences.

Cocaine use is pretty common throughout the community these days, I don't know why anyone is shocked that it's rampant within the NRL ranks; young men in their 20s/early 30s on high 6 figure salaries that can actually afford the stuff.

And not a group well known for being the best decision makers...

Exactly, plus the game itself relies heavily on the proceeds of two major addictive activities in gambling and the drug alcohol, that are among, if not overall the most destructive to households and the community in general.

I have little doubt that the positive outcomes of the important and ever increasing amount of community programs in place across the NRL, sadly pale in significance when compared to the harm from the exposure to those promoted products.

Latrine is apparently on his "one final chance" with strict clauses. Next time will be his "final-final chance and we really mean it this time".
Roorters knew what they were doing when they were off loading that scum bag Latrine.

What I am really disappointed about was how they seemed to be pushing him towards signing up with us before they gave up in the end and allowed him to go to Souffs.

I mean, what did we ever do to the Roorters apart from being their bitches for what has seemed to be like forever.

On the other hand was it a cunning plan all along knowing that he would never come to us and by insisting that he would not be allowed to be released to Souffs made them even more determined to get him and making it look like their traditional rivals got a win in the end but knowing all along that he would cause them lots of problems.

Sounds kind of complicated but makes a bit of sense when you think about it and if Souffs got played, I'm loving it. 😍

Gal is pretty consistently the best voice in RL as he isn’t afraid to tell it as it is.
They’ll come after him with claims of racism or some such shit so Ihope he holds firm.
Realest thing he's ever said

Gus also said Mitchell's been allowed to do what he does with no consequences.

He played pretty much every game while at Roosters then goes to Souths and his game tally dropped significantly due to suspensions =club/and or nrl & injuries

As I have said elsewhere, Roosters knew he was trouble and off loaded him and despite saying they would release him to go virtually anywhere other than Souffs, knowing full well that was where he wanted to go.

In the end they "gave in" and let him go there.

I still think it was a cunning plan to ensure that Souffs would get him in the end and that he would let them down and at the very least cause their old enemies Souffs some problems.

I know some souffs supporters who have said they want him out of their club and they say the people who want him gone is growing quickly.I hope his kids have a better outlook on life than he does

Unca Wayne will put his arm around him and all will be good again, assuming he lasts until next season.

Those dirty hair follicles.

There will be a gluteny of footballers with alapieca next year.

The rabbitohs club have allowed latrell to become bigger than the club, doesn't have to be at training, or at games, can run around and do as he pleases, now this is the end result, but wait all will be great uncle Wayne will be here in a few months and all will be good again

Rodney Churchill had the balls to call out Latrine so the NRL spoke to him and now he will no longer be presenting the Clive Churchill Medal. I'm sure his written apology from the NRL is in the mail.
