If he is such a star , why had he not been given a go on the wing , we anit got to my stars in that area .![]()
NSW club set to poach highly-touted Wests Tigers youngster
He is currently signed with the Tigers on a multi-year deal.www.zerotackle.com
Might be we already had our top 30 selected and to get him in we might have needed N.R.L approval, like we got for Brooks debut against the Dragons. If he is such a star , why had he not been given a go on the wing , we anit got to my stars in that area .
Or is it because he under age ????
I am happy for the kid hope he grasps the opportunity. On target with your mail @Kelce68
Here is one of our depth signings 'in the coming days' ... sounds like a T&T deal.

In the pathways, yes.Do we need another hooker?.
Hopefully it's a good sign for the long term retention of Heamasi.Had to push him out to free up a future top 30 for Makasini
He is supposedly a good little player and if he’s good enough to make a strong contribution to our NRL team if called upon, then it will be a good depth signing.
My immediate concern is we seem to be very one dimensional and not looking at a point of difference in regards to body shape when you consider he is a small, but tough and creative number 9, very similar to how you could describe both Api and Talyn.
Ideally our 3 choice number 9 should be someone who is a bigger body and hits hard when defending.
27 yr old kid …I am happy for the kid hope he grasps the opportunity.
But I am still more interested in 1st grade signings , but nothing keeps happening
Bradley Deitz 2.0One thing I know about Bellamy and Storm No.9s are they are extremely solid to elite players! It all starts with the dummy half! Tristan Hope is not different! Goal kicking hooker who is more than a solid option! Hopefully next is Tyran Wishart 👀
great player …. We are fine for spine players though…. Need help most everywhere elseHopefully next is Tyran Wishart 👀
Makes sense, as long as Makasini staysHad to push him out to free up a future top 30 for Makasini
NopeIs this Richos son management group ??
If wanting someone who may not be quite as good, but similarly versatile and plays tough like Wishart, then we should be signing Kurt Donoghue from the Dolphins. One thing I know about Bellamy and Storm No.9s are they are extremely solid to elite players! Rumor Mill Swirls: Wests Tigers Eyeing Nelson Asofa-Solomona for 2025 Season
August 19, 2024
The NRL rumor mill is abuzz with speculation that the Wests Tigers are in advanced negotiations to sign Melbourne Storm powerhouse Nelson Asofa-Solomona for the 2025 season. The potential move, if confirmed, could represent a significant shake-up in the league and bolster the Tigers' forward pack with one of the Storm’s most formidable players.
Sources close to the Tigers have hinted that club officials are keenly pursuing Asofa-Solomona, aiming to secure his signature as a key part of their strategy to enhance their competitive edge for the upcoming season. The 26-year-old prop, known for his aggressive play and physical dominance, has been a cornerstone of Melbourne’s successful campaigns in recent years and is seen as a game-changer for any team.
Asofa-Solomona, who has consistently delivered standout performances for the Storm, would bring a wealth of experience and a powerful presence to the Tigers' forward pack. His addition could address some of the Tigers' recent weaknesses and provide a significant boost as they look to contend for top honors in 2025.
While neither the Tigers nor Asofa-Solomona’s management have confirmed the deal, the rumor has sparked excitement among Tigers fans who are eager to see their team make a major acquisition. Social media and fan forums are abuzz with speculation, with many supporters hoping the move will bring renewed hope and vitality to the club.
The Storm, while maintaining a public stance of neutrality, have yet to comment on the potential departure of one of their star players. The possibility of Asofa-Solomona leaving Melbourne has added to the intrigue surrounding the player market as teams prepare for the new season.
As the speculation continues, fans and analysts alike will be watching closely for any official announcements. If the rumor proves true, Nelson Asofa-Solomona’s potential signing could be one of the most impactful moves of the off-season, reshaping the landscape of NRL and driving the Tigers’ ambitions forward.
Currently James Valevatu.Who is the third 9 now at the club out of interest?
Currently James Valevatu.
He’s been getting bagged as not being up to NSW Cup level and that might betrue, but he’s been making over 50 tackles each game, what are the rest of them doing ?
But we are not sure makasini is staying any wayHad to push him out to free up a future top 30 for Makasini
I am happy if we get him , but in saying that we need 2-3 more workers to go with the big unitI think the game has passed NAS on…he it too big and immobile…..the Dogs have shown how a mobile pack of forwards working as one unit is far more effective than a big front rower….Bellamy would not have gone for Stephanie if he felt NAS had a few years left in him as a top notch forward….if we do sign NAS, no more than 2 years…no 4 year deal pleazzze
