Signings, Suggestions & Rumours Discussion

100% yes I would prefer Bunty too.

Do we spend the Stefano money on Bunty then? Would the warriors give a release for 2025 or do we have to wait?

I could get us signing RCG for 500k with freight from Parra instead of Bunty for say 900k. That said, I would still prefer Bunty.

Dinnit Benji play with Bunty... ? Hopefully that can be a factor.
I disagree. We need a starter to replace Stef. Afoa generally can't get more than 30 minutes, similar to Royce Hunt.

RCG can do that and start. It's not worth paying full freight for him but if we get him on 500k for 2 years I would say we have a slight upgrade on Stef for less money.

Galvin will be gone by 2026. He wants to be the main man on both sides of the field kicking, passing and leading. Don't think him and Jarome will gel like some of our fans think. Latu Fainu is a gun too, I hope we don't lose him or upset him and end up 2 steps back
2026-2027 is the perfect time to be off contract for a young half too. Highly paid guys like DCE, Hunt, Foran, Reynolds & Cody Walker will all finish around this time

If Ryles wants him gone that is pretty good indicator of where he is at in his career.
Ryles , never coached any NRL teams and he would know more than
Payton , Flanno , Gould , Ciraldo , , I doubt it , Ryles is coming in to put his take on it yes but I would take advise from all those others before Ryles

Jersey Flegg is a good watch this weekend with some great talent on the park!! It is not streamed but Lidcombe Oval is great to watch some footy.
Makasini and Onitoni Large will be given a run.
Large at FB and Makasini on the wing.
Chris Faagutu will play front row and Bailey Hodges and Cayne Nicholas will get a run. Both been very impressive in cup.
Tumeth is playing for a contract at this point. He will line up at second row.
The most hyped up hooker after TDS at the club, Jared Haywood will be coming off the bench. Been playing great footy in Flegg as of recent.
Noah Johanssen - Tim Johanssen brother will also get a run of the bench.
Sione Vaihu Flegg player of the year 2023 will be in the centres.

Being one of the levels of Wests tigers footy who have seen some success this is a must win game.
They sit at 8th on the table with a record of 12-10. They come against Navren Willett's future team Manly who are 5th on the table.
Will be a great game 12pm at Lidcombe oval.

We need an edge back rower, possibly two of them and ideally one of them with the versatility to play other positions and be cover in the backs should injuries occur throughout a game.
With Erin Clarke signing for the Warriors they now appear to have too many forwards to fit into their NRL squad and they also have some very talented emerging back rowers they will need to accommodate.
This being the case I think Jackson Ford is ripe for the picking. He’s a big mobile unit who runs good lines for his playmakers and has also become a very good reliable edge defender.
The Bulldogs are already very strong in their back row plus they have Sitili Tupouniua arriving next season, therefore I cannot see how Jaeman Salmon fits into their top 17 plans when they are full strength.
He’s a converted forward who still has the skill set from his days in the halves and is also mobile enough to cover in the centres if required.
I think these two would be very shrewd recruits for us and it wouldn’t break the bank to sign them.

13. Jack Williams
12.Jackson Ford
11. Samuela Fainu
10.Fonua Pole
9. Api Korisau
8. Daniel Saifiti / Corey Horsburgh / RCG

14. Latu Fainu or Talyn Da Silva
15. Jaeman Salmon
16. Alex Twal or Alex Seyfarth or Sione Fainu
17. David Klemmer or if we offload him possibly Royce Hunt for impact value.

** That to me looks like a much better forward pack than what we currently have and with others such as Tim Johanssen and Chris Faagatu also waiting for an opportunity.
