Signings, Suggestions & Rumours Discussion

Galvin will be gone by 2026. He wants to be the main man on both sides of the field kicking, passing and leading. Don't think him and Jarome will gel like some of our fans think. Latu Fainu is a gun too, I hope we don't lose him or upset him and end up 2 steps back
Maybe so, but he’ll have to stay on the same contract, costing himself over $1M guaranteed over the next 2 years. Big risk to take for a kid.

100% yes I would prefer Bunty too.

Do we spend the Stefano money on Bunty then? Would the warriors give a release for 2025 or do we have to wait?

I could get us signing RCG for 500k with freight from Parra instead of Bunty for say 900k. That said, I would still prefer Bunty.

Dinnit Benji play with Bunty... ? Hopefully that can be a factor.
It's a big NO on Bunty from me!

Tevaga would probably do 1 or 2 good things in his time on the field but his performance would be worse the longer he was out there. He seems to struggle massively when he has to be on the field for longer than 15 minutes. We need longer time on the field than that

What can you say. We're an unprofessional club.

There was no need to make any statements re future signings. But we did. And didn't follow through.

Management does not care about the members
I honestly don't understand why people get so sensitive about possible news. It basically means they can't ever say or telegraph anything if fans can't handle having to wait.

Either someone signs or does not; the timing to me is irrelevant. Maybe I am different to everyone else.

The timing isn't the issue. Its the statement giving us a time frame and then not delivering. People are only upset at the statement. Remove that line and there isn't an issue. It's a teaser for no reason.

Have a go at us, all sifting through the bottom of the barrel go’n nah that one’s crap, this one is better.
They’re all average, we just gotta try and get the best one.

Attitude over athletisism...at this level, most of these guys can play.

The Tigers lack the attitude to tough out wins. Find those guys through the dross. Plenty of players available in reality. Just few high profile names. But honestly, other than us, who KNEW Shawn Blore before this year? Who really knew Samuel Hughes? Liam Henry?

Jersey Flegg is a good watch this weekend with some great talent on the park!! It is not streamed but Lidcombe Oval is great to watch some footy.
Makasini and Onitoni Large will be given a run.
Large at FB and Makasini on the wing.
Chris Faagutu will play front row and Bailey Hodges and Cayne Nicholas will get a run. Both been very impressive in cup.
Tumeth is playing for a contract at this point. He will line up at second row.
The most hyped up hooker after TDS at the club, Jared Haywood will be coming off the bench. Been playing great footy in Flegg as of recent.
Noah Johanssen - Tim Johanssen brother will also get a run of the bench.
Sione Vaihu Flegg player of the year 2023 will be in the centres.

Being one of the levels of Wests tigers footy who have seen some success this is a must win game.
They sit at 8th on the table with a record of 12-10. They come against Navren Willett's future team Manly who are 5th on the table.
Will be a great game 12pm at Lidcombe oval.
Heading down there as a bit of an old school get together.
First stop, the Railway.
Good times ahead.

I heard the Brian To'o rumour again today I think it has legs

I heard To'o , May and Toby Rudolph to the Tigers I love my Local
If it has legs, I wouldn’t be surprised if it was nipped in the but by Penrith until the offseason.
I’m not expecting a Nov 1 announcement but maybe something is resolved by Xmas with a change of clubs in the new year.
IF it has legs.
