Wasn't the middle getting beat until Pole came on.
Also…it’s the young blokes that had us going backwards. I know that’s a taboo topic on here, but it is reality.

If, as reported, bird approached benji wanting to be part of this, that's a big plus too.

Of course he did....

Might have something to do with his current club not wanting him,
and no other Sydney Clubs have money for him....

If he went to Roosters or Souths - He'd be playing for a couple hundred grand tops, And he wants more than that... Problem is, It would be much more.
Players that have been overpaid forever
- Tend to have clouded judgement when it comes to their place in the market.

2018 Jack Bird would have pissed himself laughing at the thought of playing for the Tigers,
I like him, Would be a fantastic Utility / Middle
- But he's no good for here.

Re signings, nothing will happen until after November. I don’t think Horsborough, Hunt or Bird are the answer.

Some many clubs will be letting players go early as they do and be freeing up positions we would be silly not to wait.
I hear Richo’s made a couple of forward signings but isn’t planning on announcing anytime soon. would assume therefore they’re playing semi finals.

Watching Bird yesterday, when he stepped and ran he looked as though he was jogging up and down on the spot. I posted previously Marshall may have met him out of respect because he did contact him personally.
Imo they should talk to lots that are available. It’s all about building a relationship with players even if you don’t need or want them.
Later down the track things might change
Phil Gould has been doing this for a long time and that is another reason he’s respected by players
