I would suggest Tamou wasn't as bad as people want to believe.

Hey, were crazy (to re-sign players and then drop them straight after). And lets not forget Joe Ofahengaue.
Cattle.From memory:
Tamou was brought to train up the forward pack. To be A guy but not "The" guy.
Just like he did with Penrith...
Now I have to ask. Why did Tamou train and work so well with Penrith and not here?
I liked JoffaAnd lets not forget Joe Ofahengaue.
He was super fit.I would suggest Tamou wasn't as bad as people want to believe.
Agree. He was worse.I would suggest Tamou wasn't as bad as people want to believe.
Luai will have the same affect on us as Crichton has had on the Dogs.He was super fit.
Ordinary player though.
He didn't have the Finucane effect, maybe Frizzell will be thet guy for us, if we sign him.
I think Luai will be the standards driver for us, he seems like he'd love that role. Natural leader.
probably the best front rower currently on the market and someone we had to pursue given the dearth of quality currently amongst our middles. The Wests Tigers are poised to land the signing of Cronulla’s Royce Hunt as they move to fill the void of prop Stefano Utoikamanu.
Hunt has met with Wests Tigers coach Benji Marshall and the club is growing increasingly confident that the Sharks power forward will be on their roster next season.
Hunt is believed to be weighing up a three-year offer as Benji Marshall continues his rebuild of the club.
Hunt is on-contract at the Sharks for 2025 and has been given permission to look for another club for 2026 and beyond.
The Tigers deal would require Hunt securing an early release from Cronulla for 2025, which is expected to be ratified as negotiations intensify this week.
Which is why i’m sitting here wondering is a 3 year deal for a guy who’s averaging 24 minutes a game this season a smart idea? unless it’s like a 2 year deal with a MO which would be betterprobably the best front rower currently on the market and someone we had to pursue given the dearth of quality currently amongst our middles.
another opportunistic signing similar to Skelton, but the biggest question is whether he's able to evolve his game from being an impact type to a starting calibre enforcer. there can be no question about his ability, but it's the added responsibility which makes me wonder.
I kind of agree with what a lot of people were saying on here tbh, he played good for like 3 weeks then has gone back to his usual. Plays like 20 mins a game & still runs out of puff, hopefully he works on his fitness.probably the best front rower currently on the market and someone we had to pursue given the dearth of quality currently amongst our middles.

Like any signing it comes down the cost to determine if it’s a good signing or not.probably the best front rower currently on the market and someone we had to pursue given the dearth of quality currently amongst our middles.

We have the best recruitment team on the planet, right here on this forum.Like they read the forum, first skelton than Hunt haha
Lucky they didn't see you constantly calling Luai an overpaid flop then LolWe have the best recruitment team on the planet, right here on this forum.
I reckon Richo is a regular viewer.
No I in team.Lucky they didn't see you constantly calling Luai an overpaid flop then Lol
If we to secure Royce Hunt plus an all-effort experienced middle like Kobe Hetherington or Corey Horsburgh, that would be huge for our progress.probably the best front rower currently on the market and someone we had to pursue given the dearth of quality currently amongst our middles.

it’s not like he can’t play above 30 minutes, but if we’re going to extract value out of him we’re going to have to try and build his motor. Richo doesn’t do options, which is probably a good thing.Which is why i’m sitting here wondering is a 3 year deal for a guy who’s averaging 24 minutes a game this season a smart idea? unless it’s like a 2 year deal with a MO which would be better
completely agree mate. next stop is a 13 and then a backrower. i think we’d be close to done after that.If we to secure Royce Hunt plus an all-effort experienced middle like Kobe Hetherington or Corey Horsburgh, that would be huge for our progress.
I actually think with what else we have in our front row then around 30 mins is fine for us - first 15 mins then 15 mins in 2nd half. Twal, Klemmer, Pole, Fainu all big minute playersI kind of agree with what a lot of people were saying on here tbh, he played good for like 3 weeks then has gone back to his usual.
