Signings, Suggestions & Rumours Discussion

Here’s hoping the smokescreen is for a To’o announcement at the end of the year (plus a forward or two)
As good as To’o is, we’ve already got more than enough outside backs on the books for next year, we should be working on making sure we have a forward pack that can lay a platform for Jerome and Lachlan to work from. We’ve got Papali’i and Utoikamanu to replace.

Yes and we still got rolled frequently with them on board.
Our pack is a huge concern leading into 25 and should be the absolute focus of all recruitment.

Yeah, to be honest I don’t think Isaiah was worth the money, we should have let him back out of the contract and signed someone who actually wanted to be here. I feel like both of them are a bit overhyped.

Kevin Walters will be available as as assistant soon … how do you butcher a team 15 mins from winning a GF. His record apart from last year with Reynolds is awful. Hired by the old boys while Wayne just smashed them with his money ball team. I love seeing Brisbane get smoked
I have mentioned before today,
Kevvy can’t do anything wrong in the broncos old boys eyes.
There Management might be put under pressure now to make the call, they had no issues sacking their last coach.

We need to replace them with better layers. Plus some good back up forwards for insurance.
Then maybe we get away from contesting the SpoonBall Cup.
Yeah 100%.
With a full pack, we weren’t enough. 3 of them have left. Getting 3 that are better than them is a tough ask. Even if that is accomplished, we still aren’t in possession of a great pack.
Not until the Fainus, Pole and Seyfarth become consistent players anyway.

Hunt Skelton got injured in the first half, but played on injured, Turuva was really good, Luai was man of the match, Luai and Turuva linked up on the left quite a few times.
Even the FOX crew who love to kick us when we are down, said Benji was proven right, he said he wanted Luai to run the team, most didn't think he could, but has proven them all wrong. Hell even Ivan begrudgingly praised him at the press confe

We’ve got Sunia Turuva coming from the panthers
Our backline still looks to lack size and speed.
No doubt Turuva is a good player, but he’s neither big or fast.
Skelton is a big unit, but definitely not fast.
We really only have Charlie Staines and Jahream Bula who can be considered as fast, the issue is Staines struggles to break tackles and Bula needs to bring his best on a more consistent basis.

Royce Hunt tonight had some strong runs and fast play the balls - commentators mentioned that. Some effective defence covering on the inside and once strongly on the blind side. One blemish was he stayed in the line which resulted in a disallowed try. Minutes and engine are clearly an issue though, but with the right balance in the lack there is no reason we couldn't use him for impact.

I like what I see from Pole and the fainus. Seyfarth is starting to grow on me as well, as long as he keeps the aggression under control.

Laulili’i and Turuva are the first 2…
To’o would be the 3rd!

Storm wouldn’t take To’o…
Neither would the Roosters…
IF Panthers looking to let him go…

That’s 3 of the top 4
So, probably not any team….
I think we're no chance of signing To'o but that is crazy underappreciation of an absolutely incredible winger who every team in the league would want on their team as their first choice winger. He does so much for Penrith, is so integral to how good they are and how consistently they perform. He's not just a player riding the good look of such a good team, he was a shining light for them before they became consistently good. I can't believe there's any doubt in anyone's mind that To'o isn't a crazily good winger. I'm taking him before any other winger in the league.
