Because being so expressly rules them out from providing the kind of assistance that actually gives the club an advantage ie topping up player salaries. Anyway, I hate to get political but this kind of bootlicking gratitude for the crumbs that may fall from a rich man's table always makes me feel faintly sick. Triguboff is not a benefactor to the Wests Tigers in any meaningful way, as can plainly be seen by, y'know, the state of the club over the past two decades. Meanwhile, if he was such a big supporter of Balmain he should have helped them not go bust, shouldn't he?
