Benji 2025

Would you give him another year, running the risk of another spoon and losing Galvin? I definitely wouldn‘t.

That's how I feel. We can't risk another year.

I just don't see how someone who has never coached can take on the toughest job on the world and succeed. It's a great fairytale if it happens, but realistically it won't.

I know we have said it so many times, but I really do feel we are on the cusp of turning it around with the kids we have and the new signings. A good coach is paramount. Piecing together Luai, Galvin and Latu is key. That requires a smart coach

Its the fans that hurt the most. Feel a little for all those young Wests Tigers fans. No heroes to look up to.

The wins versus Souths and Manly were a mirage … we read the team list each week.. somehow they managed to hang on and win those games … not tonight though … this is the reality of the talent gap…

I do think they will be much better next year though … 12-12 and knocking on the door of 8th spot …

Sacking Benji after 1 year considering everything I said is pretty crazy honestly. I think that would be a mistake.

I have confidence that we'll improve quite a bit next year with Benji as head coach, a better squad and hopefully some more experienced assistant coaches to help him out.

. It's a great fairytale
And this is all it’s ever been, a fairytale. Sheens and the club hoodwinked the supporters with stupid romanticism, by giving the job to the clubs favourite son without any experience. I really don’t want to hear talk over the off season about his potential because he doesn’t have any. Because he has no results on the board. No can objectively argue against that.

An important life lesson for the young Tiger lads. Benji told them to have fun. It's like telling young guys to have fun at a bar and they sink ten quick scotches and pass out. They need to learn to think ahead because it's actually more fun to have enough discipline to win.

Spot on. Wrong approach and Brandy pointed that put straight away pre game. Basically said that's bullshit.

Defence wins games .always will
It's pretty much been missing a year .alot more sting in defence to keep the opposition on notice .Coach ? Yea maybe .Defence definitely.
Can't hang on to win games

Sorry to say mate, you are confusing confidence with blind faith. I know I keep talking about that, but it’s a recurring theme when it comes to Marshall as coach. You can’t have confidence in someone to do something that they have no runs on the board for. Actually, not even that, someone who only two years ago, had not even been trying to get runs on the board.

Come Nov 1 next year there will most likely be a new club looking to fill 30 roster spots.
We need to act now IMO. 'Lets see how things go next year' won't cut it.
