Listening to Ricky Stuart's press conference, the decision is completely up to Horsburgh. He said he wants Corey to stay, the other players want him to stay and be like he was today and that he has no beef with him. Said he tells Red what he needs to hear.

Ricky also said he hasn't been given an indication from him.

I get the feeling that he won't be going anywhere.

Interesting Bird already talking in the media about coming to the Tigers when it hasn't even been officially announced yet. If i was to take a guess at the hold up they're probably waiting for the NRL to ratify the contract. Sounds like Dragons will have to pay $200k next year to him so it's probably just sorting all those details out and the NRL making sure all is above board.

Perhaps we need to finalise some releases before we sign formally announce new ones

he plays good minutes

could be very good

Said something like he wanted Corey to stay if he was a certain way.

Nado can stay for KOE , thats about it . Sullivan can stay for the same reason now Sezer is gone . The rest just don’t have it in 2024 . Matamua is a real waste of talent .

I would say Matamua has not reached the training & fitness standards set by Benji whilst Kit and/or Faagutu and/or Sione Fainu may be seen as overtaking him in the lock depth chart.

Can only think that Solo being free to look elsewhere may mean Makasini is close to a contract. Hopefully!!
 
In all seriousness though , he was at the dogs when their culture was a joke . Like was a poster child for lefties to reference “toxic masculinity” .
It was like Greek olympics level homoerotic ! Haha
