Dane Elderidge?
"Lifetime Sports Enthusiast"

He might need to actually have some semblance of a career before he starts to take the mickey out of someone elses' you'd think?
I think he is pretty well spot on. I'd rather read some truth from a minnow than the lies and butt kissing from journos like rothfield.

He is not wrong though, Robinson has the very best roster every year, and he has under achieved, his record of one win from 20 games since 2020 verse Penrith and Melbourne, is actually pathetic with his squad

They're always there or there abouts....
I seem to recall them not so long about marching into finals with Drew Hutchison in the halves.

Easy to assume that Robbo has nothing to do with having so many good players in the Squad.
Good players wanna play for good coaches, and Robbo is in the Top 3 Coaches in the game.
And won plenty in the last decade or so...

Teams like the Broncos and Cowboys as many Top Line players as the Roosters....

Either way, Easy to Piss on anyone on a Forum....
If Robbo was available tomorrow the narrative on him here would change in an instant.

Edit: I find it amusing,

Bennett is considered among the Elite Coaches - Best of all time....
And he's basically had 40 years of Stacked Rosters.
Bennett (One of the greatest, ever) has only won Twice as many comps in 40 years than Robbo has won in 10 Years.
- And a couple of Bennetts' wins in a non salary cap comp with less teams in the comp.

@WestsEffTheRest - I'm not 'simping' for anyone....
It's easy to admire teams and coaches when they're consistently doing the right thing....

Being an old magpie, and now on a WT's forum....
You probably wouldn't know what that looks like.

Large and Makasini are 16. They can't even play first grade until 2026 at the earliest. We still need players in the meantime. Luke Lualii still needs much more development

That's right. Luke L looks decent, he might get there, but he is well away. Large, Makasini not close. Then Naden, Staines, Too and the others...Well.

Looks like we are doing what we need to do. I have Faith in Richo.

I have faith in richo but zero confidence in our coach when you get 60 put on you in a game that meant so much to this club, those blokes out there Friday night weren't playing for this club, this coach

Looking at off contract players for next year Jack Williams & Brodie Jones are the pick of the back rowers. Wouldn't mind one of them as well as Horsburgh & Hetherington.

Backs sorted now let's sort the forwards.
I’d steer well clear of Brodie jones I’ve watched him pretty closely as my brother is a big knights fan and we watch a lot of footy together, for me he is well below a decent player. I put seyfarth above him. It’s only my opinion though mate

Defensively he is a cut above all our forwards. Stops players in their tracks, wrestles them onto their back and doesn't miss any. Adding his defence along with his smart ballplaying to compliment the deficiencies Pole and Sione have is very important IMO.
Agree … not sure what game he was looking at.
I’m all in for this signing.
We have precious few players with the hunger, the right tackling technique and ability to roll up the sleeves and do the defensive work with big minutes ability.

I could be wrong, but I think it will cost us at least 600k per season to sign Corey Horsburgh and I’m not saying he is or isn’t worth it, but when you are getting to that type of money, it’s in direct competition with other middle forwards supposedly available such as Daniel Saifiti.
They are very different players and on his best days Horsburgh is the more dynamic better player, but his waywardness and inconsistency worries me and I’d be much more confident of getting good consistent performances out of Saifiti, albeit we would be looking at 700k minimum for him assuming the Knights chip in 100k of his reported 800k wage.

I don’t think we would have to fight too hard to sign him.
His ball carries have always been strong, I think it’s his overall work rate that keeps him in reserve grade.
If Richo has shown his hand with the Horsburgh & Hetherington speculation, our next middle will be a high work-rate, defensive-minded, bull terrier of a middle who can sets our standard in line speed in the middle. Any others fit this bill? Morgan Knowles in Super League??
