Like most im ok with the signing not thrilled. Playing devils advocate though imagine if we get the best of bird somehow. The dude is a weapon fully healthy and firing slim shot I know but we can hope

Yep Richo has done well here.

2 years on an average salary with Dragons paying some freight 1st year is a great deal.
He is brought in to help develop these younger guys but he covers so many positions it's not funny.

He is only 29 so welcome to the club Jack..

I remember when our halves were Tippett and Buettner. Buettner was awesome at Norths and had a career renaissance in his second stint at Parra, but his time at the Tigers was forgettable.

It's funny how so many players can be awesome elsewhere but when they come to the Tigers the time they spend here is forgettable.

Well, we at least try very hard to forget.

Average salary for an average player.

Footy fans aren't keeping up with inflation. 400k (and keep in mind some of it covered by the Dragons) is about what you'd pay for the 10th-15th best player in your squad.

Given Bird is an established first grader, the money is pretty much spot on.

I question the fit more than the deal and player.
