Signings, Suggestions & Rumours Discussion

coaching candidates - IF Benji is sacked now or after we lose the first 8 games.

who would you pick?

1. Brad Arthur
2. Madge
3. Holbrook
4. Josh Hannay
5. John Morris
6. ??????

Apart from the first two you wouldn't go the others.

Either 1 or 2.

Probs Madge (assuming he would take it)

Question is -- who would get us more wins in a year? Doesn't matter if madge burns people out if we win a comp in two years.

And would Galvin sign extension if current NSW coach was coming on board? hmmmm.
That’s not a great list.
I would do whatever Billy Slater wants to get him. He’s the only one of the newbie’s I’d want.
Madge he’s been done.
Arthurs maybe.
Fruit Pascals and his panic appointments 🤦‍♂️

Madge won't come back here.

Melbourne Storm forward Tristan Powell is reportedly being offered and shopped around to several teams as he looks to claim a regular starting spot - plays as a prop
Has been a standout in the QLD Cup for the Brisbane Tigers over the past two seasons
Awarded the Tigers Forward of the Year in 2023 - which saw him earn his NRL first-grade debut last month.

Had a fine debut.

Richo would have the lowdown on him given his close ties to the Brisbane Tigers.

You never know. Richo could convince him IMO.

A mate of mine went to a sporting luncheon last week that Madge spoke at and said he was incredibly impressive. He broke down how he built the NSW culture through a video session on stage. I reckon our 2025 squad is more suitable to Madges coaching and I also think he has chilled a fair bit, that's what I hear anyway.

I've totally changed my tune with Madge and I'd take him back in a heartbeat to work with Luai, Api, Bula, Galvin and the Fainus. He would be excited by what he could do with this group.

the hull deal with aiden is great for him
he did indicate he wanted to stay earlier in the
season, but couldnt turn down a two year deal and getting to link up with rapana again

the club is unusually quiet

either we are about to finalise our release list
or we are announcing a resigning 🤷‍♂️

Wow, that's just an awful list. And madge? He'd be 100000000000-1 to ever come back here.

Pretty impressive solo 1st grade appearance.
