Signings, Suggestions & Rumours Discussion

That makes sense. He isnt an NRL level half by any means currently.

Which means there’s a printing error as to the competition of his destination club.

Where is Kobe?

Rooster junior says he’s solid.

Want that “ Kobe signs” membership email, instead of flogging 2024 unsold spoon bowl merch.

New sponsor due too.

Fullback depth covered by Mason and lualli ? Unfortunately hobbits with poor hands-are miles away from fullback cover given the way the game is played today
There are plenty of small fullbacks.

Ryan Papenhauzen
Reece Walsh
Trae Fuller
Dylan Edwards

Just to name a few

Who even are these big fullbacks you are eluding to? Latrell? I think the game has passed him by.

Turbo ? Tedesco is not tall , but strong and plays big. Ponga isn’t tiny neither is Edward’s .

Royce hunt will turn out to be our biggest flop since bateman and sullivan lol.

3 years was minimum 1 too many.

he'll be gassed by the end of the nxt year and probably playing reserves during the year bc of fitness and weight issues.

I am happy to out $100 bet on it if anyone wants it.

and just so people dont think im being negative -- im very happy with skelton, luai and turuva. Very unhappy with Bird, and Royce.... would have been very happy with Cory... and am non-fussed about Kobe, at least he will add some defense around the ruck. Would be very happy with RCG too

I hope you have plenty of cash, as biggest flop in history let alone for the 25 years of WT history. We have signed our fair share of flops.
We have 292 to choose from before Royce gets here. If he can improve his fitness and add some impact off the bench we will get some benefit, however I know why you have some concerns also with Bird and his body holding up.

I will take the $100 bet he will not be the biggest flop.

There arent many Turbos floating around.

Plenty of room for the little guy at the back in the modern game. Usually they are offset by some big wingers for yardage

hahaha i agree.

i didnt say i was betting he would be the biggest flop - sorry for micommuncations

I am betting that he will be playing reserve grade at some point next year for weight and fitness issues.

Biggest flop in history.... I'm happy to take you up on it, been waiting for someone to bet with me on the forum.
Do you ever get to leichardt games?
At what point do we determine flop status, year 1, 2 or 3? I think we do a poll on the forum for the final decision?
sh*t ok sorry i have created confusion

I'm not betting he will be our biggest flop - I am betting he will be have played some games in reserve grade by end of year...

i said "will be our biggest flop since bateman and sullivan " sarcastically meaning we sign lots of flops lol

I watched him closely the other day and he was gassed behind play hands on knees after 10 mins. Could have shut down a half break and several offloads but chose to jog alongside because he couldn't keep up. Will be a standout at pie night.

God I hope not.
Well here’s another left field signing , and I know lots will say NO , NO , but he is someone who we could use , he is older and wiser .
Matt LODGE , he hits the line hard , his defence is OK , has good lateral movement , would be good at $350 for 2 years , he played really well yesterday, he’s a mongrel type player , and that’s what we need

I can’t believe u people know so little about football, he gets 10-20 minutes in the 1st half and maybe 10-15 in the 2nd half , ONLY because the sharks have heaps of props and they only use hunt as a shock weapon, when he gets here and benji wants 20-25 out of him each half then u can bag him if he doesn’t stand up

With there huge nursery,Broncos can manufacture a player for any position except 7
Sullivan wldnt be rated, the obvious won't be reeased..so latu is my pick.from their perspective
Apart from splitting the family,he's our back up if Galvin goes
They can have virtually anyother outside back except Bula
Geez I hope not

I honestly thought he was just average yesterday. At his best he was pretty good but his best days are gone. Still at $300k he'd be better than Twal.

He was good yesterday but I doubt the club would even consider it.

Been outta the headlines for a long time just doing what hes meant to apparently but being sacked by one club and released by 3 others is a bit of a red flag...maybe he still has issues

Our 2025 pack is potentially;

8. David Klemmer
9. Apisai Koroisau (C)
10. Alex Twal
11. Samuela Fainu
12. John Bateman
13. Latu Fainu

14. Tallyn Da Silva
15. Fonua Pole
16. Royce Hunt
17. Alex Seyfarth

It isn't exactly garbage but it isn't top tier either.
