Why does everyone want him to play centre and what is everyone’s obsession with changing players positions…

We have defensive dramas as it is and I’ve seen people already complain about Turuvas defence so our answer is to play him at centre ? We’re doomed. If the starting wingers next season aren’t Turuva and Skelton then Benji has even less of a clue than I thought

Poor hands .....gets gassed pretty quickly not great laterally ......can't wait to see the back of him

Just remember Brisbane usually has a conveyor belt of high quality junior forwards coming through yearly ....if they have any weaknesses they won't last long

Just read that the sharks are in trouble with there cap with a heap of players needing new contracts or upgrades , we should be going back to the well and pick up another player , I really hope we got two more forwards coming or next season will be as bad as this year even with a star 1/2 back , NO forwards , NO wins

it's been reported multiple times and has been reiterated by people close to the club. 3/4 of the right edge will be Galvin, Turuva and Skelton. backrow currently up in the air.

no info on Bird but I think he'll either play right edge or fill the jersey 17 role they have at Penrith, where you have a guy that can cover edge, centre and the middle plus he can play halves at a pinch. will mean we can run two hookers as well without losing too much size.

If true I hope the Montoya signing comes to fruition. We need to set and forget the left winger to build combinations and confidence and none of the current options we have at the club give me any

Do u really think there going to waste bird at 17 while we play forwards that can’t get us over the go forward line , and can’t defend either , unless we have two more forwards coming , he will play in the centres to sure up our defence out wide

I completely agree but again, only speculating from what I can see from the outside looking in.

I don't think Seyfarth's up to it, I can't see Bateman coming back despite all the fanfare and below that we have Sukkar. even if Hetherington signs we're still another 1-2 forwards away from having a half decent pack.

I'm really hopeful he's ours. it's a really good signing to bridge the gap between Makasini and Large.

I can see Bird playing centre at some point for sure, but I can't see him starting the year there. his role is going to be really interesting.

Turuva has questions in defence. 100% should not be parachuted to Center.
At wing Turuva is a massive improvement. At center, contrasted with what we had this year... an improvement.

Put a fit Bird and Olam in, Turuva doesn't get a lookin at center.

defensively minded lock forward who will lead our linespeed, hits hard in contact and can throw a good pass off both hips. got some work to do on a few things but I think he improves us.
