Politely completely disagree Tedesco is the best fullback in 2024; He had a great game, but he's long been overtaken by Walsh, Edwards, Ponga et al.I hate to say this but TEDDY is still the best fullback going around, gee we missed out badly with him jumping ship
I think you're right. Probably Aaron Woods is the exception. He definitely went backwards after he left us. I think the main reason is our players who leave will always go to better teams and will play and look better in quality teams. Tommy Talau is a good example. I don't think he's any better a player at Manly but he sure looks like it.The more we hear about players going on to do better in greener pastures (understand in this case it's QCup - but Simpkins was named prop of the year!), the more I lean to the environment at WT not getting the best out of these players.
Ultimately, it's up to these kids to apply themselves, but they need direction from senior players, and it just doesn't seem to exist at the club. Now, the roster is younger and less experienced than ever.
Hopefully Luai comes in, is a prominent voice, and raises the standards and changes the culture in the dressing room.
Benji always had a high opinion/rated Talau. I think he has gotten better as he has had an injury free run. Interesting that he is playing wing successfully though. I think we tried him there with moderate success. Seems to have found a home there. Aside from his try scoring (18 tries) he makes good yard with his carries.I think you're right. Woods literally started running backwards into the D. Before he left to. It start after his origin failures. I reckon the front on man-up-ness of origin scared him for the rest of his career, and he became Dora.I think you're right. Probably Aaron Woods is the exception. Welcome.2 questions rn:
1. Is there an app for the forums
2. How do I turn off emails for every notification.
Not to mention, all the claims are fully funded by the taxpayer, yet a council or otherwise, looking to defend the claim has to come up with the legal costs themselves. And I would love to know where all the mining money goes , and why the hell we continue to pay they 65 billion dollars every year , ( that money also includes welfare money ) , Fox News got a legal document from a corporation from Alice Springs , after Albo gave them $400 million when the riots were going on last year , it said the aboriginal corporation had $600 million in there a/c , so why the hell did we give them $400 million TAX payers money . No wonder this country is going down hill
At 31, he's definitely getting to the back end, but he's been incredibly consistent over his career. He might not be the most flashy these days, but he has very well rounded game.Politely completely disagree Tedesco is the best fullback in 2024; He had a great game, but he's long been overtaken by Walsh, Edwards, Ponga et al.
Lucky to be top 5 imo, but do agree letting him leave was one of the worst moments in tigers history. 😦
You're 💯 correct about "intimidating big man" after last night's effort by JWH.I also agree that our forwards are currently a lot weaker than this season.
I really don’t think the likelihood of cutting ties with Bateman hurts us much, but in saying that we need to recruit at least one edge back rower, whether it be a starter or depth, otherwise we are asking too much too soon of our emerging players.
If we sign Kobe Hertherington or Jack Williams, then we adequately cover 13, but I still worry we are also one quality, intimidating big man short. That’s where the more I think about it, the more I think RCG would be very handy if we could somehow get him for 2 years at a decent price.
Then we no doubt need a quality outside back, Montoya would do.
Walsh could be anything, just makes way too many errors.Politely completely disagree Tedesco is the best fullback in 2024; He had a great game, but he's long been overtaken by Walsh, Edwards, Ponga et al.

On a one or two year deal he could be good for Us.So what’s the go with RCG anyway? He’s leaving Parramatta, turned St George down but wants to remain in Sydney. Seemingly no interest from us so who is he looking at? Roosters, Dogs, a return to Penrith maybe? I’ve heard nothing since he turned St George down. We should go all out to land him I reckon. He would top off our pack nicely, though he probably doesn’t want to come here.
Another Kempsey WT's fan by the sound of things.Heading over there this afternoon to pick someone up.
I'm sure your memory re. this Daine Laurie V Parker episode is 💯 correct jadtiger 🤣.From memory (which is not as good as it used to be) when we played the donkeys Parker tried to bully some of our smaller players and Dane Laurie (our original player not the second) stood up to him and looked like he was going to kill him,Parker went pasty faced voided his bladder and bowels at the same time and backed away at the rate of knots..
At least that is how my memory remembers it.
He's too skinny to be anything like an elephant. Can we address the elephant in the room... Doueihi
Also forgotten there’s someone next to him to pass to.He's too skinny to be anything like an elephant.
And it's said elephants don't forget, and Doueihi has forgotten how to tackle.
How's the weather in Fiji YotT 🙂.Can’t help myself, as I’m in Fiji. Benji did a few days here not 3 weeks and was roasted like a duck. Also came up with a duck though 😂
