Ch9 News reported there is an Aboriginal Land Claim over Penrith Stadium which has thrown the redevelopment into a bit of a turmoil.

Well isn't the land claim approved if the land is not being used.

The 'Riff won't be using it for the next couple of seasons so I guess they'll just have to approve the claim. 🤣

Guys like Kitoga and Blore saw the signings of Bateman and Papali'i as a road block to regular first grade. Blore managed to become a starter in Melbourne. Kitoga is stuck behind Kikau and Preston at Canterbury.

Two players the club should've invested more time in. But this is what happens when the decision-makers are constantly changing every 2-3 seasons. And Sheens really stuffed it during his tenure IMO.

What a load of rubbish, road blocks are made up by greedy managers , back in the day these guys would have made first grade by fighting for the spot with good form

Around 50% of the country is some type of native title (exclusive, non-exclusive etc.). Another 13% or so in the pipeline. I think most taxpayers would be astounded at just how much land goes back and the mining or other royalties these corporations now get from some of that land.

The average Australian has no idea this has happened since 1993 under Keating and continued for 30 years.

At best, the Panthers could be paying a lot of rent backdated to when?

Not really much to it, the claim has been there since around 2009. Was recently rejected to the site being in use and there is an appeal as it not going to be in use for the next 2 years.

There is approval for the development to continue despite the claim.

The appeal will have to be heard by the Land and Environment Court later this year. While the Land Council appear to have adopted a very reasonable approach, we will need to see how the Court determines the appeal.

Thank you Gazman, I'll keep that in mind.
It's really interesting meeting other Wests Tigers supporters, seeing the face behind the name and having a bit of a chat, and I of course always ask if they go on our Forum.
I stopped at a roadside rest area somewhere between Taree and Kempsey about 12 months ago, was wearing my WT's polo shirt and happened to meet @alittlebittipsy who was with his family, and a really nice, polite bloke. I haven't seen him on the forum for a while, maybe I scared him away ha-ha.

The dumb screws might bring stuff in for them, I have been offered quite a bit of money to bring stuff in for them, but I am not that stupid. Some inmates will tell you things they probably shouldn’t if you give them a chance. I worked with lifers and guys serving over 30years, plus remand inmates, pretty much the whole gambit

And I would love to know where all the mining money goes , and why the hell we continue to pay they 65 billion dollars every year , ( that money also includes welfare money ) , Fox News got a legal document from a corporation from Alice Springs , after Albo gave them $400 million when the riots were going on last year , it said the aboriginal corporation had $600 million in there a/c , so why the hell did we give them $400 million TAX payers money . No wonder this country is going down hill
