Broncos fans hate him.Karapani is quite a decent player, bit like Skelton
We dont disagree apart from the value of bringing in JAC if we had the spots available. But there's currently no spot in the top 30 as 4-5 development players roll into the top 30 (bad contracting from previous admin) and Sione Fainu hasn't been resigned.
The club is trying to move on some cattle without much luck.
It's not yet Nov-30 when some clubs may decide to release players a year earlier from their contract, which could be some forwards that the club desperately needs if it's going to improve in 2025.
And to add, JACs recent issues.
Why would the club bring him in?
Hate to burst ur ballon , but kaufusi just resigned at the sharks two weeks agoWith not much WT scuttlebut atm, I'm just going to throw out there some 'out there' predictions for shits'n giggles ...
1 We'll appoint our assistant coach after the Broncos finish the NRLW season ... SCOTT PRINCE
2 Our next player signing will be after the Sharks finish their NRL season ... OREGON KAUFUSI
3 Two weeks after the GF, our next landmark signing will be achieved ... BRIAN TO'O
Lots of laughs!
My balloon was re-inflated when Brent Read come out in recent days on Triple M & said his mail was wrong on Kaufusi taking up his option BP.Hate to burst ur ballon , but kaufusi just resigned at the sharks two weeks ago
It came out on Monday that the reports about him taking up the option for next year were wrong.Hate to burst ur ballon , but kaufusi just resigned at the sharks two weeks ago
pending we can find the spots, another middle and a backrower has to be on the agenda. Kaufusi would be a wonderful acquisition. My balloon was re-inflated when Brent Read come out in recent days on Triple M & said his mail was wrong on Kaufusi taking up his option BP.
Melbourne Storm version of JAC yes, Bulldogs version, no. Seems to have lost his way.We dont disagree apart from the value of bringing in JAC if we had the spots available.
The JAC thing would divide the forum and I accept the other side of the argument about bringing him. I am not saying you're wrong. Personally, I think if the stars aligned and the contract value was low enough, he would add something to the team.
I'm no activist for JAC. Just making a fairly benign and nuanced point as described above.

Only because our inept recruitment team had no ideaThe Edge forward had already committed to Melbourne for 2025 and beyond though don't forget
Sadly he's better than every current outside back we have on our booksIt disturbs me how many are talking about JAC as a serious option.
Ability concernsEveryone seems out for starf, is it injury concerns?
He could kick a footballWell if we are setting the way-back machine let's not forget Ross Conlon.
That's on Sheens / McDonnell and Benji....But there's currently no spot in the top 30 as 4-5 development players roll into the top 30 (bad contracting from previous admin) and Sione Fainu hasn't been resigned.

there’s a few players like Matamua, Saukuru and Klemmer that have been rumoured to have been shopped but nothing concrete.
would also assume there’s a re-signing of Sione Fainu to come. there’s also been a number of juniors retained as far as I’m aware.
