Signings, Suggestions & Rumours Discussion

He was there to reshape our roster. Find home for deadwood & bring back some key signings.

The deadwood is still here which leaves us with no room to sign anyone.
Your arguments are all based on your assumptions about what Richo does and is supposed to do eg. how do you know that's why he went to England? To that end, you'll always be right so there's no point in trying to convince you otherwise. Personally, I think you're a little bored now the season is over and you're overreacting. Enjoy the off-season.

Thats correct, it was a sex tour...
So what if it was ? He was gone 4 weeks ….Whats that got to do with you . What if he negotiated the sex your trip when he came across . Had all the brothels from Amsterdam to London picked out for years lol .
in all seriousness , who knows what the fruits of his labour can and will be . And the EsL is notorious for being insular and self serving , it would not surprise me at all they were time wasting , and lacking any real desire to negotiate , build relationships etc .
If it means we can get 1 of our bad contracts off the books , that would be worth it .
Not to mention , what if he was over there for corporate sponsorship , an international company that his head quarters in Europe somewhere . You honestly have no idea what the true purpose of his trip .
Or maybe you do and he was all about turning that red light out lol

Yeah he would but Lodge is off contract + an enforcer that is lacked in this pack. Worth a 2-3 year deal IMO
I’d take him. He’s a much different guy. Met him while at Brisbane. Quite a chill guy - seems to have grown up. Still a decent middle. We need another forward even if we managed this. Paseka was mentioned but has signed long term deal.

oh i'd take paseka any day, that guy is a beast.

Clubs have rosters.
And there's pathways.
And there's development.

Going back to Richo's comments in April this year, the club's forward focus was going to be ".... South-Western Sydney is the key step in helping turn the club into an NRL powerhouse."

No one player, no player manager, no individual is going to be here that does not want to buy into the Wests Tigers "crocodile roll."

I'm supporting Richo and Benji and their recruitment plan to get us off the bottom and be a competitive team long term. They are already being position selective as to who comes on board, all aimed towards a long term objective.

Season 2025 under Luai - committed for 5 years as leader - is where the "winning" starts and once that happens, the young ones will know there really is a path to the top.
