Signings, Suggestions & Rumours Discussion

Frustrating that we hear about Large, Nav Willett, Zak Clarke & Alex Isdale leaving us. We hear about other Clubs pathways retentions/extensions like Eels today. Yet we have heard nothing about any of our elite pathways retentions officially yet! And I’m not talking out some of the train & trialists announced last month (Broederlow etc)

Nothing about Makasini, Godinet, Taupau-Moors, Hayward, Duncombe! We probably will but I’m surprised the club doesn’t drip feed us some positive news.

We can’t sign any of them because our top 30 is full with the likes of Naden, Sullivan,Tumeth, Feledy, Sullar, Bateman, Matamua etc

I've never started a signings rumour on here before, but tonight I'll stick my neck out and put this one out there because it might make some people happier than they are at the moment.

Taniela Paseka is returning to the Tigers as part of a swap deal, a Large for large deal one could say.

Well, it kind of helps with our forwards situation.

Parra lost 3 of their brightest young stars over the past few months in Talagi, Sanders and Matt Arthur. Took a little while before they had any decent news in Iongi signing from Penrith and Guymer re-signing.

Hopefully our positive news isn't too far away.

Seems unlikely they would trade their no 1 prop for a 16 year old. Especially when he only recently signed a five year extension.

Paseka just extended at Manly for 5 years last month …

as long as we provide him with a place to develop and a clear plan to become a sustainable footballing entity that is constantly challenging for premierships, he will stay. with Shane Richardson at the club I see no reason why both won’t happen.
