Cronulla bustled Penrith for a good while, just weren't good enough to capitalise.......too many errors from them while on offence, so they weren't able to maintain the pressure on Penrith, and as has been the case for a while now they clock off early, but still a fair effort.

The Panthers don't seem to play as direct as previously, but obviously still a great chance for four premierships.

They just don't have the structure and cohesion that Melbourne do, so if it's 13 on 13 thinking the Storm might prevail, especially if they continue with their high completion rate.

I tell you one thing I did notice TF that you literally
just reminded me about was how purposeful the
halves were cutting into the line, it kept going out
the back with depth to strong runners, instead of
crashing your 2nd row onto short balls like brooksy
did on every second possession, we did it heaps
this year as well, going short when we had guys running hard from depth and/or an overlap we just
kill it by taking the wrong option and crashing short

That going short nearly drove me nuts

Yes it played a big part.
Penrith aren’t great mudders.
Looked at the 7 day forecast. Looks like a dry track for the GF.

Thought it was more a case of Garner being run into rather than Garner running into someone and creating an obstruction.

Hes 100% correct though.
The decoy had no chance to run through the line as he was tackled - without the ball. He didn’t bump into the defender and obstruct him, the defender made a decision and drove into him with his shoulder.
Clear try based upon a poor defensive read.
