LIVE GAME Finals Week 3 Preliminary Discussion *Spoilers*

Live Game Discussion
People tend to give Riff a bit of slack when it comes to their amazing record. They have built up the club relying on home grown talent and a hard edge culture. They have noted cheated the cap and have been forced to let players go.

I think the run might be coming to a end after This year but they will be still a competitive side
Yeah we don't know if they are cheating the cap
Ivan could be giving Nathan money from his salary .....

Notice Newtown beat North Sydney to win NSW CUP in a close one
A bit of consolation with the "Jets " being the Sharks feeder team
It seems North Sydney are a feeder team to the Storm ? Just how many feeder sources do the Storm have ? They have a least one Qld cup side also ?
Its not a level playing field with our only Cup feeder side being the dead last Western Suburbs Magpies !
There in a nutshell is our problem
We need to scout and recruit from a much bigger pool
( also IMHO stop clinging to the past ! )

Biggest problem the Storm have is replacing NAS
If Welch is the next man up ...they are in trouble
Based on that I'm leaning towards Penrith ....but would prefer Ivan's cryin after 80 minutes

And thanks for the NRL to give us two teams in the grand final that virtually no one gives an ef about.

x
Mate, you’re kidding right. The best v the best is always worth watching.
The two best current coaches plus
Pappy, Munster, Hughes, Grant and co
V
Edwards, Luai, Cleary, Yeo and co
Definitely worth a ticket or at least a watch. I for one can’t wait. think it will a cracking game.
The rest of your comment is personal opinion( which you are entitled to) I just disagree.

Yes the NAS loss is big for Melbourne...however they posess two things that I think will sway the GF in their favour.
1. The speed of Paps getting through halfbreaks.
2. The tall timber wingers Oates and Warbrick being masters in the air.

Have also thought that could be on the cards, but in saying that, they usually have to let one or two players go a year to balance the books, unlike the Chooks who let a 150g player go and sign up a 750g player
Yes, one or two marquees usually.

It will be Panthers I’ll be riding home. They should be the underdogs. Melbournes form has been better and they have beaten them twice this year, but for me, it’s history I’m watching unfold and I think it will be a long, long time if ever before we see it again.

Agreed. There will be an aerial assault incoming.

there is talk of Storm isolating the Penrith wingers .centers, isolating them in returning the ball, Bellamy reckons they havent been tested there, melbourne wont get that right n its The Riff,4
