Nobody wanted him because nobody likes him. Unpopular with other players at Penrith and Parra.Glad we didn't go for/missed out on RCG. Just don't think he's got much more in him.

Probably didn't like getting a tickle from the moush when celebrating a try or possibly in the sheds post game.Nobody wanted him because nobody likes him. Unpopular with other players at Penrith and Parra.
They would come here for;Yep and Benji is well behind in his planning I think.
Haha. Bit of Blue Oyster Bar action, perhaps?Probably didn't like getting a tickle from the moush when celebrating a try or possibly in the sheds post game.
Sounds very familiar!Hasler did the same thing at the dogs. Recruited forwards like woods etc when they seem covered for forwards and needed backs. It didn't work out well for them.
Sincerely hope so.We're in the market to add a few to the pack.
Might have to disagree there, he’s a good player but signed until 2030, so likely lots of times for injuries with his past all while on 700k if GC chip in 100kBased on team selections throughout the 2024 season, I would presume AJ Brimson is on the outter at the Titans.
I know he’s been injury prone, so would be a little bit risky on big money, but a fit and healthy AJ Brimson is elite.
If the Titans were prepared to chip in 100k of his wages to help balance their Salary Cap, a player such as AJ Brimson could be brilliant for us.
I know Bula fans would be up in arms, but a switch to centre or wing could potentially see an even better version of Jahream.
RCG would've been another piss poor signing in the mold of Packer, Mbye etc. He is 31 and going downhill rapidly, the Titans will rue that signing in a year's time. And then you realised we have Klemmer twal and 10 minute Hunt
They aint real sharp...they swallowed To'os story on his game day brekky of 6 coke zeros, large chips and brekky burger
Might be a fire sale soonCan't see how Titans could have 4 forwards on 800k+, 2 only whom on over a million
We should hear something about Hetherington next week if he's on his way or not. Maybe we are just waiting for an answer before chasing anyone else.Sincerely hope so.
If the Panthers win 4 in a row that's a remarkable feat, and I absolutely hate them. I wonder how long it will take for another club to top it with 5 in a row ?it’s getting really tough for the journalists to find a new angle on the Panthers after 5 GFs in a row ..
There is seriously an article in the Telegraph today about the Panthers bus driver that takes them to the ground 😑
We really need some new teams at the top next year
Done without a salary cap though yeah?Massive that Penrith is going so well in a time when there's other formidable teams around too.
But let's not forget history, and the feat of the St George team that won ELEVEN consecutive grand finals - 1956, 1957, 1958, 1959, 1960, 1961, 1962, 1963, 1964, 1965, and 1966.
Now THAT is some sort of miracle.
That record is tainted as they had no cap and loaded their sides with great players who were well trained under the unlimited tackle rules.Massive that Penrith is going so well in a time when there's other formidable teams around too.

i respectfully disagree with the general thesis. That record is tainted as they had no cap and loaded their sides with great players who were well trained under the unlimited tackle rules.
As soon as limited tackle sets began, their dominance was broken. They were also amateurs.
These Penrith and Melbourne outfits we’ve seen over the past 6 years would have consistently put 50 on them.

I’m pretty sure we were robbed in more than 1 of those 11.Massive that Penrith is going so well in a time when there's other formidable teams around too.

Interesting discussion! What would happen when they had the ball! Unlimited sets ( modern teams struggle to defend for 12 tackles) limited interchange, competitive scrums play the ball, 3 yard rule etc. I would be surprised if a 2024 side would cope- it is beyond their experience. The reverse would also be true.i respectfully disagree with the general thesis.
Maybe you’re forgetting historic relativity in that all the clubs were playing under the same set of rules at the time.
They were extraordinary.
Comparing the eras in that way, I think there’s a number of troublesome variables.
In that time and place they were super smug.
But where we agree is that if we could pack our side into the Tardis and let them loose on those dragons, we’d be running up scores against them, the likes of which we’ve never seen.
