Tests are by far my main interest followed by ODI with t20 as an afterthought.Yes you are right about them needing some real cricket before the tests start

Considering that India has the largest population in the world and they are cricket mad (number 1 sport) it should always be a massive achievement to beat them

Yes but statistics says we are the best
We are the only country to have more test wins than losses against every test playing nation .
Pure logic says cant have more than one country to achieve this !

I looked at my cricket calendar seen first ODI vs Pakistan 4th Nov and I said
" that's next Friday "
No crazy calendar just me now 77 maybe early onset ------
Must be more careful with posts
 
I understand NRL / AFL seasons just finished but why aren't any of the Shield games being played at No 1 state grounds

Perth have had 6 weeks .....yet played at WACA

How do our youngsters get used to playing 1st class cricket at International level giving us a true advantage over away teams

I reckon its cost 💲and no one goes to watch the Sheffield Shield. You’re hiring 50k seats for your event and only 2k show up, or 20k seats at half the price to keep the comp sustainable.
But, I am hearing ya.

But they Qld v WA game is at the currently being renovated WACA ......it's not a small stadium...I know no one us there .....but why lose our home ground advantage on the international stage .....new players get picked for a Test debut and they may only have batted once at that ground in a 1st class game ....ridiculous
