How long - not very long at all. All of us will be looking for improvement in 25. If we stay in the cellar Benji will be gone before year end.

Enough time to clean his office out and go back to TV and be the clown again.
He said words to the effect recently that he knows he could be finished if we donāt improve, but he was Ok with that as he has implemented his program and is sure he is building a better club.
Against that, Richo has said ā results countā when he joined the club.
So competing messages.
We are in the annual promise of better future mode atm.
As frightened as I am for another spoon, Iām not confident Benjis successor will be any better because the hb intervention isnāt working as hoped. Thatās just my view. Iād rather lick the mud off the LO hill than welcome Lee back, but hb might want to review whether or not they should hang around after serving up the last 5 years of complete and utter rubbish.
I like to think the club is still best served by a democracy instead of this political paralysis and matey incompetence.
Thatās not Benjis fault I know.

Itās still a bit of a surprise to me that he took the job on at first instance.
After a cold shower, he could have had a milkshake and he might have concluded a couple more years learning the craft would have been much better for him in the long run.
And where I totally agree with the Benji Acceptance Auxiliary, in that he didnāt exactly inherit the best squad. But he knew this too.
If things go badly, I hope he knows when to flip the switch.

Unless we can solve some of our problems (Sullivan, Bateman), Richo and Benji may strategically front-load for a push in 2026.
As long as the current team can get us off the bottom to keep the media and supporters at bay.

who says no to a bud Sullivan and Bateman for KPP swap? Solves their lack of halves while giving a āmentorā to young backrowers, only issue would be cap and if we can get KPP to extend before the trade

This is a make or break year for Benji. The team has to be more competitive and consistent. It's all good to say your on a plan for the future but if your constantly getting beat, the fans and sponsors will walk now.
