Go back & look at that Harold Matts winning side.I think Latu has the higher ceiling in the halves. He's a 15 year NRL player.
Galvin could be anything. Literally anything. His greatest strength his how much he's on the ball. That is hard to teach.
I know I danced around your question, but for now, I'd probably lean more towards Latu. In many ways you know what you're gonna get with him into the future. Starting half.
If you build a squad around Galvin being a long term 5/8th and then his growth makes it difficult for him to be effective there, it could present squad balance issues into the future.
A good problem to have and it probably goes without saying we should be moving heaven and earth to keep both if we can.
