Our poor discipline is a side effect from a combination of poor preparation, low fitness, weak resilience and confidence.
Everything we do is garbage. The book needs to be re-written.
An army camp would be perfect for this group

It all starts now

The 2025 pre-season has begun, with 22 Wests Tigers players arriving at the Zurich Centre for the first day of training.

Monday’s group primarily comprised the younger members of the top 30, players on development contracts, and those on extended squad training contracts.
The likes of Lachlan Galvin, Jahream Bula and Samuela Fainu were present on day one, as were new faces such as Tristan Hope and Jaxson Rahme.

Hope, Rahme and Eiden Ackland are the only recruits to join the squad at this stage of pre-season, with the trio joining the club as part of the extended training squad.
Justin Matamua, Heath Mason and Tallyn Da Silva were also among the returning group.

Wests Tigers Rookie of the Year, Galvin, returned to pre-season a week earlier than scheduled and expressed excitement about returning for the pre-Christmas training block.
“It’s great to be back, I wanted to get here early and just get into it,” Galvin explained.
“We did a lot of skills, a bit of fitness and it’s good to get the first day out of the way, but I love being back training with the boys.
“It’s been good meeting all the new boys too and seeing everyone coming back from last season.
I hope they do more than “ a bit of fitness” because that let us down badly last year.
