I completely agree that Bula's got work to do on his support play but we're clearly getting the ball away and creating second phase. that's the start of it. Terrell increases our capacity to do so.
A lot of Terrell’s offloads went to a lumbering forward out of position, the Roosters were able to capitalise on it by getting it to the speed men. What’s to say we can’t do similar.Fair Play..... Just numbers though - Aren't they...
Will be a bit different offloading to a fullback at full tilt through the middle,
Than to a lumbering forward who's out of position.
Currently 115kg. Hopefully he holds that weight.Terrell is tall timber. 193cm and 108kg. he averages around 55-60 minutes a game, but can play longer minutes if need be.
he's got a very high workrate. averages around 12 hitups a game and has the fourth highest tackle efficiency percentage in the entire competition, behind Payne Haas, Martin Taupau and Isaah Yeo.
he offloaded 38 times in 27 games last year, outlining his ability to create second phase play, and has an excellent passing game for a man his size, evidenced in some pretty incredible highlights.
he's not really a tackle breaking type, but his tendency to offload does alleviate this. his average carry of 8 metres is probably the only thing that needs work, but I attribute that to playing high minutes.
Could he be a lock option with that ball playing etc?Terrell is tall timber. 193cm and 108kg. he averages around 55-60 minutes a game, but can play longer minutes if need be.

Yep, or Samuela.Currently 115kg. Hopefully he holds that weight.
Do you think he is an Alpha prop though? I don’t think that’s his in his DNA. He seems very similar to a Payne Hass where he is exceptional but doesn’t have that fear factor.
That’s where Hunt comes in I think he can be our Alpha.
I completely agree with you, I've got him in the top percentile of the workhorse class as well.Currently 115kg. Hopefully he holds that weight.

I think Sammy will move to the middle when Hunt retires. it makes the most sense and he's only going to get bigger and stronger.Yep, or Samuela.
Yeah, I tend to think he will cause far more damage and supply better platforms for Luai and co as a tough nut, no nonsense prop.I think Sammy will move to the middle when Hunt retires. it makes the most sense and he's only going to get bigger and stronger.
Yes actually Samuela at prop isn’t a bad shout as a long term option. Right now he is too quick and silky for the middle.Yep, or Samuela.
Yeah his athleticism, speed, fitness & skill with the ball can be dynamic on the edge which we got a taste for last season. He has the profile to become of the game's best backrowers so wouldn't be moving him to the middle for a while but it's good he has the versatility to.Yes actually Samuela at prop isn’t a bad shout as a long term option. I compared the stats on all our propsCurrently 115kg. Hopefully he holds that weight.

You don’t strengthen a chain by simply adding a single strong link. You continually replace the weakest link. Nobody’s walking on water that I can see. It’s all because of Luai. People are deluding themselves if they think it’s due to anyone else. He’s a personality and player other players want to play with. I think it bodes well for retaining Galvin quite frankly.
International, NSW half. He’s won 4 comps. It’s a fair market price in a comp with poor half depth.Mate, there are 1.2 million reasons that got Luai here, That’s not to say he isn’t invested in the vision, but it took massive overs to get him here. Overs that were worth it, because he has magnetism.
No offence,
But he just won't get those sort of stats playing with us....
I shudder when I look at his offloads, With all that ability - Who's he feeding here?
Our side is lucky to have a bloke within passing distance any time an offload is on.
The way the game is going..Sammy will make a great middle(he's about the same size and weight as Terrell May). But.. not before we find a couple of good second rowers that complement Galvin and Luai.I think Sammy will move to the middle when Hunt retires. it makes the most sense and he's only going to get bigger and stronger.
Yeah , massive waste if you put him in the middle, could be a Kikau type as he grows into his body.Yeah his athleticism, speed, fitness & skill with the ball can be dynamic on the edge which we got a taste for last season. While I completely agree about JL, players wanna play with good players who are professional competitors. While that may be the original catalyst, there has to be something else?
We have been desperately trying to find a lead domino, someone players love to follow, someone who is always in the game regardless of the scoreboard, and consistently produces something. I think recruiting got a whole lot easier since the signing of Luai.
