He is on bugger all next year and 26. We have a huge advantage that if he resigns he will get an upgraded contract for those years and we won't have to quite match market value

Really?? May is a great signing but I thought it’s just common knowledge Thompson is the best young prop in the game with comparison to a young JFH. Not saying May isn’t a good signing because he clearly is, but I think Thompson’s a better player with higher potential personally

In "Coastie" terms . . . Watching Stefano is like only getting the odd bite all day, but May will be like getting your PB for 2 species in the same trip.

He's still under contract for 2025. Sione is not

You just follow the football way of doing it . Have him train by himself . Not even with KOE . And then he plays KOE cup . And if he keeps kicking rocks , you then send him down to Massey . And if he refuses to play ? Cool see you later .
I know people think differently , but it would handsomely destroy his career for him to spend even 1 season in Massey / KoE bench .

Players union won't allow him being made to train alone. It's in the CBA

If Galvin gets an offer for say 1.2 Million. Will we refuse to match it?

Look Galvin is good, but he isn't quite Great yet. Maybe he will reach that level, Maybe he wont.

There are far more Daniel Mortimer's and Tim Moltzden's then Cooper Cronks.

I see Galvin as more of a Clint Gutherson style player.
