You just repeated my point, in a different way. Top 17 and top 30 players are very different.Don’t agree, he has been improving very year. Not every player can be a superstar, you need low priced depth players. All clubs have them.
Ive heard Luai kicked pretty well in lower grades.See my previous post.
It ain’t Doobie.
Api is better but I’d rather someone else.
You’d think one of our coaches or past GKers could sharpen someone up.
Seyfarth is on the improve and hitting his prime years he is in any 17.You just repeated my point, in a different way. Top 17 and top 30 players are very different.
Don’t worry mate, if you can’t do 0 to 40mt in 4.5s then it’s a job for Skando.Chasing Gina Rinehart? That's an image I won't be able to shift outta my head!
I was wondering that very thing, but it would good if players like JL and Api didn’t have the extra responsibility of GK as well.Ive heard Luai kicked pretty well in lower grades.
Pretty sure in one of his early posts he identified the need to improve the lower grades as he acknowledged they needed vast improvement as wellIs there any podcast with Richo where he talks about pathways and needing the reserve grade team to play well to create competition for NRL spots?
Love itBackline going into 2025 semis :-
1 Bula
2 Skelton

7 Romey
Other possibles
Ollam

Heath Mason
Charlie Staines
Latu feinu
that’s a backline to go into the semis for the next 5 seasons
He's not even on a development contract in 2025, he can't play until mid way through the season at the earliest. There's no expectation he will dominate NRL next year, just that it's good to say last have a forward with potential in our systemDon’t get me wrong, I’d love to see Johannssen kill it and become a first grade regular. But it seems to be a common occurrences to hype up a guy after some good performances in Cup and a game or two in NRL.
We’ve seen plenty of others do the same in Cup and never really stand out in NRL. I also can’t see him getting many games with May, Klemmer, Twal, Hunt, Pole and Sione F (likely) all in the top 30 and ahead of him in the pecking order.
Just think it’s silly to be placing so much hype on a guy so early into his journey. It’s very premature. Let him string a few consecutive NRL games together first.

I would presume his kid is with his wife...?!Doesn’t he also have a kid in England?
Totally agree. Would be good for Api / Luai to be the fall back kickers if really needed, not first off. Have to say finding background stat's on such things all but impossible.I was wondering that very thing, but it would good if players like JL and Api didn’t have the extra responsibility of GK as well.
Could argue the point.Completely agree, but I’m hoping with some success and competition he’ll go to another level.
Also, I think he’s better than Olam can be now. Not better than Olam has been in past.
Yeah I used to read a lot of stat sites. I don’t play fantasy but they have good websites with good current stats and I like to win tipping comps, But since I got sick I couldn’t be bothered spending the extra time. @Tucker and his stat posts have been a good read, I don’t have to do the leg work. Thanks for those to btw Tucker.Totally agree. Would be good for Api / Luai to be the fall back kickers if really needed, not first off. Or Brandon Smith. In the Daily Tele, Saint, Sinner, Shoosh by Read & Carayannis.
This could refer to a few in our club ...

What club is trying to get a player to move on graciously — and if he doesn’t cop the hint — they may end up sacking him?
Souths won 18 of Madge's last 52 games in charge, that is a damning stat with a stacked roster, he is no great club coach, he is best served in small doses as in NZ and NSW coachHe doesn’t have a point as he’s claiming that Madge is vindictive, thin skinned and trying to out the knife in us which is just a flat out lie. He hasn’t come out and bashed the club despite having every reason to after the shit sandwich they handed him which I’ve already gone into detail about.
There’s a lot that went down at Souths that you can’t fault Madge for. Crowe driving Keary out, resigning Burgess for 1.5mil and forcing a lot of the GF winners out of the team etc
And which senior players? Because I doubt it was Inglis or Burgess, the two most senior players during his time there. Inglis re-signed roughly the same time Madge signed an extension. and my understanding is that he still has a good relationship with Sam Burgess and was one of the people pushing him to go into coaching.
Kaito said he doesn't want to leave his parent's house lolSHOOSH II
Which player from a rival club stunned Brisbane officials when he nominated his asking price to replace Ezra Mam in the event that the Broncos five-eighth receives a lengthy ban.
