Remember Benji and his altercation at Maccas ......I don’t confess to know these blokes at all , sounds like they grew up in some pretty rough circumstances.
Didn’t Benji have a bit of battling upbringing too? Single mum etc etc
Maybe he does have that Bennett magic dust with these sort of kids? Pure speculation on my part.
I'd let go of Starford for a cardboard cut out of Taylan MayI'd be willing to even let Starford go if it meant we could get Taylan May.....
With a bit more 1st grade talent around the club, hopefully we see the lower grades settle a lot more than they did this year, skiping 3 grades in 3 wks,i hear. ya.Be good to see them just playing in position to bed down, not shuffle about like a 14Call me old fashioned but I’m still a believer that the proper way to Firsts is to absolutely bash the door down in reserve grade. Melbourne is still going about it that way - star reserve grade players like Grant, Pezet, Faalongo who had to do a proper apprenticeship.
Can’t for the life of me see how anyone in our reserves earned a first grade opportunity in the last few years.
We’re obviously in a building phase, hopefully to a point where first grade jerseys are harder to earn.
I don’t think he’s had his day in court yet has he?Your upbringing is no excuse. Millions of people have rough upbringings and grow up to be normal functioning adults. And he’s had a luxury not many of those people have, by being good enough to make lots of money. Atm though, he seems happy to squander his good fortune.
He's another one with no clue how to tackleI don't rate Feledy, but that's only me, he would be a cheap to go with some of the others.
Yes we want guys like Staines and Doueihi performing well in reserve grade and pushing for selection you want that healthy competitionCall me old fashioned but I’m still a believer that the proper way to Firsts is to absolutely bash the door down in reserve grade. Competition is very helpful. I imagine our main wing prospects of Turuva, Staines, Luaallii and Skelton will all be pushing each other throughout the pre-season.Yes we want guys like Staines and Doueihi performing well in reserve grade and pushing for selection you want that healthy competition
Rubbish Reynolds will mis more games than he does d last year , hunt is a year older , if the nrl are fare dinking, Ezra should not see football for at least 4-6 monthsHunt said the plan is to start in the halves whilst Ezra is out and then move to hooker
That's still an unreal spine, imo
1. Walsh
6. Ezra
7. Renno
9. Hunt
14. Mozer
He was too young and experienced to be playing NRL last yearHe's another one with no clue how to tackle

If he’s found guilty it won’t be a problem because he won’t be playing for anyone (rightly so). If he’s not guilty, he’s free to play and he’s a major upgrade on any of our centres.
We shouldn't hitch our wagon towards a few family from out west and a couple of managers.Shame on Benjie for telling them to respect their lives outside footy and make sure your got your game face on when your at workHaving form and found to have acted cowardly by a judge in a previous assault, even if not meeting the very high bar to be found guilty on this occasion, it doesn't mean that he is innocent, and statistically very unlikely to be so.
For mine, such signings don’t work if WT wants to be known as a family club.
Is he being prosecuted for being a horrible footy player? If so, then I understand the poor taste in your mouth. I don't think anyone here is cool with what he allegedly did off-field, they're just talking about him as a footy player. The excitement over Taylan May leaves a pretty poor taste. If nothing comes of the court case fair enough, but the mans facing some pretty dispicable charges
What signings work if we're to be known as a family club? Should we never have gambling companies as sponsors? Fast food as sponsors? Not play in a league sponsored by alcohol and gambling?Having form and found to have acted cowardly by a judge in a previous assault, even if not meeting the very high bar to be found guilty on this occasion, it doesn't mean that he is innocent, and statistically very unlikely to be so.

So a NSW Cup player who has never played backrow at any level in his juniors or seniors is suppose to turn into an NRL backrower in the space of a singular off season...No one is saying a prop.
Try back rower!
Yep. The cardboard would definitely last longer.I'd let go of Starford for a cardboard cut out of Taylan May
Hunt and Reynolds are like 35 each. Not really building a future.Rubbish Reynolds will mis more games than he does d last year , hunt is a year older , if the nrl are fare dinking, Ezra should not see football for at least 4-6 months
Reyno would have to be long odds to play more than 10 games. Gets injured tying his boots these days.Hunt and Reynolds are like 35 each. Not really building a future.
Ezra Mam is a POS.
