The club were linked to Luai for months before he was sacked. And he put the clause into the contract. What’s to argue? 🤔

Yeah we were linked to every bloody off contract player under Pascoe. They all gave him the middle finger though.

He is not alone as far as losing quality players - but fairing pretty well in relation to recruiting.
Flannagan Cleary Robinson all losing SOO and internationals.

Contract clauses. They're all the same they'll piss off in a few years... Only constant is us.
I'd love to know what else we don't know that some here do know only after the fact is publicised.

By rights they should be better thanalmost the clubs history of recruitment but I've seen way too many come here and turn to duds.
No tackles tries or anything yet... Been bitten too often by this club regardless of who's "running " it

Come on Ink, we need to be positive. Really, we've never looked better and the blokes we've recruited, on the surface, appear to be the type every club needs. I'm not fussed about most of the juniors coming through to be honest, but Makasini, Johannssen, maybe Sukkar, maybe Matamua...that's all we need to be an ultra competitive side.

I couldn’t give a shit mate . Honestly . These types of articles are designed to destabilise and are probably released by guys like Gould and whoever to stir shit .
Teams like the roosters have had a stranglehold on the nrl for far too long , as they know if teams like the tigers or even the dragons to be honest , get thier shit together , then the power dynamic would shift dramatically .
Like in the 80s the power sat with Balmain , manly , Canterbury , and to a lesser degree parra because everyone hated Denis Fitzgerald .
Then obviously the 90s happened , and the shift went to the roosters , manly , and Brisbane . It’s always shifting .
We are on the come up , it’s obvious , so the knives are out now , because the platitudes of “I just want to se the tigers good again “ soon becomes “shit the tigers are good again “ real quick .
That’s how I see articles like this .
And especially news limited . They’ve made an absolute killing these last 12 years shorting wests tigers stock .
