Signings, Suggestions & Rumours Discussion

Seyfarth is most likely to start imo. Although I'd prefer him on the bench as he can cover both middle and edge. I'm not sure who else will fill the role on the bench in 2025? maybe there won't be any edge coverage on the bench and Birds moves to edge and a bench player goes to lock.
Just noticed in today's 'celebrity' clip on the club website in one passage, it looks like the 1st team in black singlets with Api passing out to Galvin on the right (Luai was on the left) with Seyfarth running a backrow decoy line off Galvin with Bula sweeping to take the pass.

You can think it but don't say it.

A bit like, "Don't mention the war."
"Don't mention the war" was one of the many great sayings by Alf Garnett along with 'silly old moo' and 'randy scouse git' translating to... horny Liverpudlian jerk.
But of course, Alf being Alf, a ruckus started didn't it.
"Those bloody Nazis".

Personally I don't rate Faataape or To'a, we need better
I was keen to see what Faataape would produce after a full preseason, but coming back to training underdone is really disappointing. he’ll be under the gun from here on.

To’a we’ve got until 2026. ideally he only plays 5-8 first grade games a year.

So if NRL team has Seyfarth and Samuela Fainu as the 2nd rower, who are the 2nd Rowers in NSW Cup?
Reuban Porter, Brandon Tumeth, Tony Sukkar, Kit Laulili'i, Lachlan Broederlow, Tuaree Rawhiti, Josh Finau or will they experiment with Tim Johannssen, Sione Fainu. the trials will be interesting.

There is no way Bateman is going to move to Townsville I reakon he will be here next year
I hope you're wrong. This bloke has showed the type of character he is (and not the type WTs need in building a strong team culture). He doesn't give a shit about anyone but himself, I hope he goes north, feels the 80% humidity at 6am and wishes he grew some plums and hardened up when Benji told him how it was.

Parramatta are set to sign Fiji international Kitione Kautoga to an immediate two-year deal.

Kautoga is contracted to the Bulldogs until the end of 2025 but it is expected he will be granted an early release to link with the Eels on a supplementary contract next season before a top 30 deal for 2026.

Kautoga made his NRL debut for the Tigers in 2022 before playing two games at Canterbury this year. He played in Fiji’s end of season Pacific Cup matches.

WE DID...those 💩 Nazis, and they are still causing trouble in various countries around the world today 😡.

They always will because it is impossible to destroy an idea no matter how disgusting it is.The politics of division and blame on others will always attract the gullible.

I think it'll be Api while on-field and probably Tallyn while he's off it tbh.

Makasini will take the tee once he's playing firsts regularly. absolute gun goalkicker.
I don't know where this "he's a gun goal kicker" comes from. Yes he kicks goals, and he's ok. When i've seen him play he's kicked at maybe 70% at best. He's missed the posts by about 20-30m a few times with some absolutue shanks. I noticed he doesn't really have a technique, a pattern. He just walks up to the ball and thumps it.

There's also absolutely zero chance he gets burdened with extra duties as a teenager in high school playing NRL. Maybe in 2 years but for now we'll keep it simple for him.

I recognise nothing of what you have posted here. Who is Alf?
I was referring to Basil Fawlty.

Bloke probably would have played 10-15 first grade games here last year and onto a top 30
