That's the problem which has precipitated the recent crap.
Richardson pushed for Barry's appointment outside process. HBG aren't happy about that. Seems Shane is playing one side off against the other......he shouldn't be getting involved in board selections or bringing skeletons out of the closest......but I've worked with those types.
Having pushed for Barry's appointment he has influence over him. If then Barry is selecting the remaining 3 independents that's not acceptable......and I think all delays come down to this..... plus the need for the DEI hires......it seems there are a lack of suitable ladies who are interested.
Everything else is scuttlebutt .....as they say.

All the press release did was confirm that the Holman Barnes group is divided despite their apparent devotion to the cause, and the options are blind faith/ignorance, choose a side to support, and or call them all out.

Formal Qualifications certainly aren't the be all and end all,
But you've got to have something that Qualifies you, No?

Someone has to teach these idiots how to run a Football Club - It's obviously beyond them on their own.
It was a huge event . There were 2 sides and a lot of collateral damage . Mainly people had a huge issue with .
And from that everything stemmed . Also there was 2-3 people who lived for the shit stir .
It was what formed the catalyst for the Podcast forum .

mate I’m on the Magpies side of the merger. I play reserve grade, albeit not very well, in the Macarthur comp. I grew up on the hill at Campbelltown. I have mates who work at the club and have family who played in the lower grades for Wests.
I was simply trying to show solidarity with those who were historically Balmain. no true Wests Tigers fan wants to see the return of the Magpies or the Balmain Tigers. we’re one club.
apologies if you saw it as divisive, it was the last thing I was trying to do.

I saw a couple of posts from you and @cochise on Friday night when that crap article surfaced.......they weren't the best and they seemed to reference me something about torpedoed the club BS and other name calling. Seems you took them down or had them taken down by the moderators....perhaps they could explain.
I was to post then and there....to remind people it was BS but when I saw those posts I didn't bother.
@Lestronge has got a track record with whinnying posts.....if you can't engage with someone on anonymous forum as you would in real life that's lame.

Come on mate. If HBG are taking richo as recommending Barry to continue (not appointment!) as chair in how you say, then they are mentally weaker than i thought. All he wants is the best for the club and a change in chair would set us back. Its not blooming rocket science!!!

Mate you guys went off about a dream that a Wiggle had and a Balmain board director with no power threatening the future of JV.
Burgess and Romero are a faction within the board with controlling power and a divisive accusations from other Wests Board members have become public knowledge that point directly at him and now you want to be dismissive.

Replying to far too many posts.
Meant to say Barry......as he dealt with HBG during his previous tenure as well as dual HBG WT directors.
Was only meant to highlight there are complexities regarding the procurement of directors.......hence the delays.
