Signings, Suggestions & Rumours Discussion

Stevo, I was thinking that too, but would someone
other than him fit the bill for yours? I still think Doueihi
Has some utility value 4 next season — I'd like
to see Tumeth free up that spot for a mid-year back
row signing or something, not sure. Sign Taylan to
fill a centre spot, upgrade Sione & Tumeth spot can
go to a backrower (11/13). That's where I'm at bro...
Knee swelling up at the end of the season concerning for me kaito has ability but wants to be a half so for mine one foot out the door, Tumeth read on hear a while back contract clauses make him hard to payout if true here for next season Taylan if court case favorable and stays out of trouble gun outside back good team with him in it Sione top 30 going forward unless a good second rower drops out of nowhere is possible look at the Tyrell signing in a perfect outcome another spot become available for both Sione and good external second rower, cheers mate.

I was curious how many players the Roosters had in their top 30. Looked it up and atm only 21. Wonder if they might go after some of ours that are only on 1 year deals 🤔IMG_7389.jpeg

They have to have at least 24 according to nrl rules. So a minimum of 3 missing from your list, perhaps more?
Blake Steep is the only name I don't see that should be there. I think there is a 2nd Va'a as well.
Moriarty another.

I watched Blake Steep this year and believe he is going to have a long NRL career , If he can stay injury free.
A young backrower that I would like to see in the Tigers colours.
But as we all know Uncle Nic won’t let this one go anywhere
Unfortunately.

I value him that high because I put a premium on hole running . As simple as running between 2 players is as a concept , far fewer players actually can do it consistently . Some can’t at all , I think , and this is just my opinion , but because a lot of them were the massive unit coming up that just ran over people .
For reference that’s exactly what Joe Ofahengue was , and now I watch him get dominated in tackles a lot .
And Garner is really good at it . But as others have said he isn’t going to bump players off and go flying so I’m probably alone in that value , but I guess it’s why my favourite player as a kid was Steve Menzies . To me that was the prototype second rower .
One day there will be a player who can hit a hole , run over people , and take dirty hitups all day . That kid is going to be worth a lot of money .
Hole runners generally need a player who can create a hole .....been a while since we had a player who had been able to create a hole

Junior Pauga must have improved out of sight he used to have hands like feet.

They do though, Sam runs down the same edge
as Luai. The left, quick play the ball from Terrell &
it's raids on that side all day. Add Tiny too & Turuva
outside them. Right edge is the big question mark...
Damn that right edge powerhouse second rower the missing Christmas present wasn't under the tree hopefully we find him in the new year the missing piece on the board.

Honestly, we may have 2 split them up the more I
think about it, not quite sure yet man. If anything
4 the sake of having our own style of play & showing
a different hand/schemes in attack. No point picking
a starting XIII at the moment if we're all being honest
