Not really they have 10 players off in 2026 including Sutton who they significantly overpaid.

Was more thinking Miller as a longer-term prospect for them since he is arguably the highest credentialed 19-20yo prop without a contract in the NRL.

Klemmer hmmmm same manager as coach O'Brien in Isaac Moses. A return may not be out of the realm of possibility now you mention it especially that S&C coach Hayden Knowles who Klem had a falling out with has left the club.

Not really they have 10 players off in 2026 including Sutton who they significantly overpaid.

Also got a few really good young players that will be needing significant upgrades in the next few years to keep around like Mitchell Woods. We’ll See how it plays out

That is correct ... he knocked back the Raiders offer of $3.5M for 4 years .. he has taken a so called "lesser offer" to join the Bulldogs .. cough cough bullsh*t cough cough .. He will join the Dogs in 2026.

Thompson on Thursday informed Canterbury officials of his decision to head to Belmore in 2026. Thompson was swayed by the trajectory of the Bulldogs, who finished in the top six in 2024, and believes they can challenge for premierships over the duration of his deal.

Thompson has also been impressed by the significant development of a number of Bulldogs players under coach Cameron Ciraldo, and thinks his game can go to another level under his tutelage.

I find it annoying that when we sign players the full amount of the contract is mentioned (or speculated). However, when it's a club like the Bulldogs they don't actually say the numbers

I actually think raiders would’ve been better for Thompson as their forwards get a little more latitude compared to dogs who seem programmed. Might just be the games I’ve seen
But I don’t really care either way seen as not for us

Certainly works for us...and obviously Dogs too!

That's because the Jurnos work directly with Gus and don't want to piss him off, which is understandable.

Watched a couple of games with Thompson. He's ok. Worth 600k, not 850k+.
