1) The delay in implementation of the review
2) Tony A, the key driver of the review, being ousted as chair
3) Dennis and Stephen being placed on the WT board without reason.
4) The 3 supporters of the review being banned from the club under dubious circumstances
5) The comments from Rick Wayde.

Richo crafted his words very carefully. I heard him in a different way to how you did I think...

I don't know what else to say mate, everything out of wests tigers has been all positive the last 12 months. Yesterday's podcast was be reassuring that everything is still on track.

I think it does have impact on Wests Tigers. When the leadership group is disrespectful of the role they play in strengthening the organisation’s culture it encourages a similar behaviour throughout. Particularly when they call themselves owners.

the maths just doesnt stack up,You'd have to be 35 to remember the Parent Team,to have not realized that life goes on and changes happen whether you agree or not is a sign of mental unbalance and probably a lot of turmoil across life's experiences for people of that mind set.Wrong thread.For every 1's wellbeing should i blow this thread up and shut it 4 a weak ,NOT lol,carry on .Just a few here bog it down,twist curve n spiral reality.

Emotion and Context is the key.

The petition has over 1000 people within a week or so, that’s not a small amount of people. All are passionate about it no doubt just like many at the top.

The timing that has driven those 1000+ people to sign it is key.

It’s been 12mths or so since the last one, but the last few months have been brutal - we have our best signing period and have good news stories and then bang - the amount of media articles that has been dished up negatively mixed with our worst performance across the park in all grades, mixed with silence from the owners side was at some stage going to see something happen. Add to this we are still in a holding pattern until formal appointments and well some fans are just fed up with it all and reacted again.

I know appointments take time, are confidential, occur behind closed doors and alot of effort goes into the changes that are occurring better than most. It’s more than just recruiting. That’s how a true business operates.

The challenge our club has is because of the history and the media spinning revenue stream mixed with no information and staying quite mixed with how long activities are occurring - in today’s digital age eats away at people.

If the owners are viewing it as spiteful, then to me it indicates they’re not reading the room & need to take a step back breathe and then take control which is what Richo has done.

Some of you guys are not going to be happy until the whole thing implodes. Then you'll wonder where the whole JV went. You heard what you want to hear and that's nothing positive could come out of Wests Ashfield. You guys are as bad as the Magpie diehards except you pretend you just want WT to succeed. I get you love Balmain but, like the Magpies, get over it.

Dude. Gallagher asked what evidence there was that someone wanted to undermine the initial review. That's the evidence. That's all. I also believe the majority all want to achieve the same goal and Richo was just deliberate in some words to ensure he set it up for conclusion.

But I'm happy with the statement the other day. Simon Cook was great. If it goes through, and WT becomes separated, we can stop all this.

However, I hope that HBG will take the initiative to fix its governance. Not under any petition or anything, but just because it's the right thing to do. It's not a good structure.

.. and you want to talk balmain again like everyone seems to? Go read my prior posts. I couldn't be clearer.

Zero to do with Balmain, I am happy for them to have no future involvement with the Wests Tigers. I would be happy with the HBG owning 100% of the Wests Tigers if they deliver true independence for the Wests Tigers.

How can that be spun as pro Balmain?

I don’t understand your view.

This same sentiment keeps popping up. I’ve openly bagged Balmain and so have most of the people who have signed the petition yet it’s the same crap that spews out from the (mostly) old Magpies supporters saying that we’re anti-Magpies and want to destroy Wests Tigers.

It’s utterly insane and the pinnacle of hypocrisy.

It's not aimed at you either. Why are you being defensive? My point is that even after Richo et al coming out and saying it's all going to happen the naysayers and anti-HBG group are saying they're lying, don't like their body language etc. They don't like HBG because they survived and thrived while Balmain died. Just get over it like you tell the Magpies to get over it. On the last point, I agree with you. Explain how it's hypocrisy or insane and I'll resign from the forum tonight.
