The difference between you and me BZN is that the only time I have talked about Balmain is to say to kick them out. They add no value and just add complexity to our board.

You still talk above as "talking from a Magpie POV". It should be a Wests Tigers POV. I think our issue is that a lot a few people are thinking the efforts towards reforming HDB are an attack on the magpies.

I get how some people might feel that. But I can speak for myself, that's not how I think about it... and, going out on a limb, I don't think that's how most think.

They are simply the owner of our team and we all want WT to be a force. I go a bit further and say that they are a true merged organisation with 3 clubs, including markets from Balmain as well as their naming. They are more than Wests Ashfield.

Honestly, HBG have done some amazing things in the past. That being a prime example. They are the natural progression towards 1 owner, 1 team. I would like to see that down the track if they can fix their governance.

Sorry AHX I should have given you some preamble. I’m almost certain there will be a reevaluation of the pricing, just trying to get ahead of the game to assess it.
The chair is on around $60k including super.
Deputy not far behind say $45k inc super.
And the others around $38k.
Additional allowances for clothes, computer equipment.
Plus free meals and (reasonable) beverages. Also applies to family.
The WT board is probably something similar, so a good deal if you’re sitting on both boards.
It wasn’t that long ago WT had difficulty signing players with many delays media journos, besides being full of bs, told us a 60 day wait for board members was common. Thanks to God we have improved the boards availability.
